It was good, but couple of things weren't. I had been to Galap Gaucho in Napa & my expectations were too high. We went for our anniversary on a Friday night. Our sever was WONDERFUL. She was attentive but not intrusive and deserves 10 stars, she was the best part of the dinner. I didn't realize it was in a strip mall, that would've caused me to adjust expectations, but I still would've been disappointed. They didn't have the grilled cheese. We asked multiple times & were told they'd bring it out, but finally, asked our server (rather than the guys serving meats, and she came back & let us know they were out of cheese. I know it's not everybody's thing but I would have left before being seated if I knew they were out of cheese. Our server apologized & I said thank you but I know it's not your fault. The weird part is that the manager(?) came over in a couple seconds to tell us it wasn't his fault & no one told him to order more cheese but her had put in an order tonight. That was just too weird. The salad bar & sides were not good. Everything seemed like it was leftover from another night cheese with dry edged. Suizzler honestly has a more extensive selection. The seafood options were sketchy at best. I didn't have any seafood but my husband had the lobster bisque (with no lobster pieces) & another seafood selection & felt quite ill (stomach & runs that night). The rolls were great & hot. Our server brought a dessert out because it was our anniversary, which was kind. We do NOT intend to return & would be very cautious if anyone asked us if they should go. The ambiance was lovely & our server was amazing but the food was ok-ish & not worth the cost but the weird comments around the cheese were...
Read moreThe salad bar had a lot of options from hot foods such as salmon, muscles, black beans, rice to fresh cut cheese and salami and fruit ect. I really enjoyed the salad bar but not for the cost of $39.99. However, I don't know if it was because they were closing but they failed to replenish to salad bar once certain food ran out. Which was unfair rather they were closing or not if that's what we paid for.
They advertise 16 different meats. I swear they kept about a good 5 to 6 in heavy rotation. There we maybe 3 out of the 6 that was tasty. For the full experience , it's $65.00 for adults and 30 for kids 6-12. I truly left feeling played and like I did not get my moneys worth.
The atmosphere is not kid inviting. I feel like this place is more for couples. The place is very small. Very small! At one point the waiter had us lift our plates up to receive our meat because he couldnt fit around the table. We received water once. The people that worked their aren't very inviting. Their energy was low...
Read moreI took my husband there for his birthday, and it was amazing! We went on a Wednesday night and the atmosphere of the restaurant was so relaxing and welcoming, and the staff were all so kind and attentive. The market table was great and had a wonderful selection from hot soups to sushi, and it was something I could definitely see ordering by itself if I was there for a lighter meal. The meats were all delicious! We tried all the offerings, and my personal favorites were the filet mignon, picana, the roasted chicken, sausage, and the grilled pineapple, which was incredible. I'm not a fan of lamb in general, but the spices on theirs was tasty. We went to a more well known steakhouse on Santana Row for our anniversary, but the vibe, food, and staff were just so much better here that we agreed this is our new special occasion restaurant. It's smaller and more intimate than some of the larger Brazilian steakhouses, but that was one of the things that we loved. We will...
