The owners pay their employees very low wages, and expect them to do way more than their hourly wages while they are buying new cars, and profiting off of the labor of hired locals. The employee paychecks always say that they got $37 in tips, but they know that they are skimming off the top and putting that money in their pockets. The paychecks also have “taxes” taken out, but there is no social security number on the paycheck. Where is that money going to? Once again… in their pockets. If you’re sick; you must come to work. If not; you get your hours cut, or retaliated against next time you work. They also make you take your lunch breaks either an hour and a half into your shift, or 6 hours into your shift. If you are thinking about supporting this business: I highly suggest that you do not. They also own Divine Market in Soulsbyville, and the market in Jamestown. They treat their employees like garbage. If you decide to work there (which I highly suggest not to); keep your own records of your hours, because they will try to short your paycheck/paychecks. Read moreWhile I was there, I noticed one of the older employees looking a little too long at some of the other female customers. If that wasn't enough to make me uncomfortable, the same employee then later accused me of smoking at the store, as well as leaving an empty cigarette box on the ground for him to pick up after the fact. First off, I do not smoke, and I certainly do not leave any trash around. The accusation came out of nowhere, especially when I have been a repeating customer who hasn't done anything other than spend my money there. Read moreWe've been trying to stop in to try the biscuits and gravy for some time finally made it today and not disappointed- but the star of the show was the breakfast sandwich with bacon and bacon jelly- didn't even know such a thing existed, but the gentleman serving it up said I shouldn't miss it- wow! great flavors, made to order, super hot- 2 eggs and toasted sourdough... best breakfast sandwich I've had in a very, very long time- may best ever?
