This company has no honor. They fired a Marine Corps veteran that has been a delivery driver for the company for 7 years who was in-between cars due to a bad car accident with no notice, going back on multiple previous agreements. They told him in writing, in person and on the phone they would allow him to return to work once he had a replacement car, no matter how long it took. He got informed management he would be getting a replacement car the third week of February 2020. They said to go ahead and resubmit the paperwork for rehire and again reassured the employee his job would be restored to him. Over a month later, now the end of March 2020, they do not answer that employee when he requests follow-ups to return to Front Gate Domino's, as previously agreed. They have however offered employment again, but at lesser volume stores, going back on the original agreement. The company had a new hire orientation three days ago, March 27, 2020. The veteran in question was also at San Diego corporate office while orientation was being held. He was not admitted entrance and no member of management would even meet with him. When the "employee" asked what was going on, no one responded to text messages. This man is a Marine Corps veteran and has been a delivery driver for Front Gate Domino's for seven years. He experienced a car accident that totaled his vehicle. Upon informing management that he was going to wait for his settlement to buy a replacement car, they reassured him several times that his job would be there for him whenever he was ready to return. No time restrictions were ever mentioned. When the employee was ready to return, they allowed him to go to the process to get his job back. Once the process was done, they went back on there word and continue to be radio silent....
Read moreOrdered through the app & the delivery was running about 20 minutes past the estimated time, which was all fine I understand, until the app updated to say that the order was completed. Yet, we had no pizza. I called and whoever picked up said I should wait 10 minutes and if it still isn't there to call back. My husband wasn't satisfied with this (going on 40 minutes late at that point) so he called back. Another employee told him they had no contact number to reach the driver in order to find out where it was.
A full hour after the estimated delivery time (not including the 20 minutes after the app said the driver left the store) we still had no pizza. So, my husband called back to request a refund. The female employee who took his call was surprised the order never reached us, and she offered to resend the pizza & refund us but my husband has to get up at 5 in the morning for work - so we just accepted the refund.
We live on base, a whole five minutes from their store location. The driver could have literally gone to the north side of base and back and then delivered the pizza. We typically get great service from them (the only reason I'm giving two stars after this) but this was ridiculous! I'm pregnant, exhausted, and left without pizza. Friday...
Read moreI just had the worst experience of my life with a food establishment. I live exactly 1 mile from the Dominos a 20845 Vandegrift Blvd Spc 107 on Camp Pendleton. I received my $60 delivery order and tipped the driver $5. My pizza and wings were luke warm at best. I ordered the Extravaganza with extra sauce, extra cheese, and extra onions. I also ordered boneless chicken, hot wings, and a Caesar salad. The pizza looked old with dark dry edges on the toppings. The crust was dry and hard like it had been sitting for a while and someone just threw extra onions on top and reheated it. It didn’t have extra sauce or cheese. The wings were not even warm. The boneless wings were crumbs the size of a dime on some of them. My salad was the best part but I couldn’t even eat that because I was so mad. I threw everything away....I called and spoke to the very nice manager Blake and he offered to replace my order with a new one but I declined. I don’t think I will ever order Dominos again anywhere I go. Further, I would even say that this location could be a public health hazard by allowing food like this go out the door. I say this with fervor as I am a former restaurant...
