Efren's Deli — Restaurant in California

This place has good food but the staff here are horrible . I placed an order over the phone of 2lbs of carnitas with extra cueritos when i get there i get charged for my order but never receive my order i notice they are giving other people there food but mine never is handed to me i try to be patient but similar things have happened to me before so 15 min later i say hey where is my order and the guy there says o what was it even though he was the one that charged me i tell him and he says o its right here it had been sitting there the whole dam time. Im like are you kidding me . Than when i get home i go to find out it was not how i ordered my carnitas it had not even 1 piece or cueritos in it. SMH horrible...

The woman there was incredibly rude. They gave me the wrong kind of tacos. She argued with me about what I had ordered. I wanted pastor tacos and they gave me chicken. I asked them to fix it and instead of remaking the tacos, she brought out a dirty plate with some cold pastor meat on it and a dirty fork buried in the middle. She proceeded to slide the plate in front of me and then walked away to make a phone call on her cell phone. She never checked back in and refused to acknowledge us for the rest of the time we were there. I have never met somebody so rude in the service industry. This is the type of service...

We Love Efren's. Their enchiladas are great. However, the quality of their food has really gone down. Today my Flautas were not good. The chicken was so dry and hard that it seems like they used left over chicken from a week ago. Biting into them pulls all the chicken out because you can't bite through it. This isn't the first time I have received them like this. I will not be ordering them from Efren's again. The consistency is erratic - sometimes the food is good and other times I'm upset with myself that I chose them for dinner. Like now...
