Elena's Kitchen & Catering — Restaurant in California

I've been eating from this establishment for nearly 5 years. They catered my wedding, as well as numerous other events that I've attended.

For them to now have a storefront is beyond convenient. Over the last year I've been to the store at least two dozen times. The food is as consistent as possible. The menu changes regularly, with new things being added and removed fairly often. The classics always remain. Their hot food is good, but don't miss out on their soups and salads which are totally top notch.

Their recipes are pure gold. As are the hands of every person preparing the food here.

If you're a Slav living within of 50 miles of here and you've never been here - you should be ashamed of yourself.

If you're not Slav and you've never been here this is THE MOST PRIME EXAMPLE of Russian/Ukrainian food you can find as far as I know. Their food rivals what my grandmother puts on the table at home.

If that wasn't convincing enough - the prices here are way too cheap. They could charge double and get away with it no questions asked.

We recently visited Elena’s Kitchen & Catering and were pleasantly surprised by how cozy and welcoming it felt! It’s set up cafeteria-style — you choose your food at the counter, then either take it to go or sit down and enjoy it right there. The dining area is spacious and clean, with a relaxed, homey vibe.

The variety of food is truly impressive. There’s something for everyone: hearty meat dishes, fresh salads, comforting soups, homemade dumplings (vareniki!), and even house-baked bread. Don’t miss their dessert section — it’s packed with cakes, pies, and pastries that taste just like grandma used to make.

You can tell everything is made with care and soul — it really feels like homemade food. The portions are generous, and everything we tried was flavorful and satisfying.

The only small note is that they currently don’t accept EBT/food stamps, so bring cash or a card — but honestly, it’s 100% worth it. We highly recommend Elena’s to anyone looking for delicious, honest, home-style cooking. We’ll definitely be...

Have been going to this place for LONG time. #1. Food is amazing 99% of times #2. Chebureki got them 2 different times not throughly cooked-double check them my suggestion. #3. There are some rude staff that owner needs to adjust, unless they want 100% Ugly Russian type service. #4. I ordered catering from them on all our birthdays.
