Fatburger — Restaurant in California

Let me start off by saying that this was one of the most welcoming establishments I have ever been in. I've had my fair share of burgers and visited numerous top chain burger locations. Fat burger (especially this location) stood out to me because I didn't feel like a customer, I felt like a guest.

My girlfriend and I were tired after a long day at Six Flags and wanted something really good to hit the spot. We've never had fatburgers, so we decided to try it on a whim. We split a XXXL burger between the two of us and bought fries (which was delicious and well worth the money). An older man who was helping us was very courteous and welcoming to us. When he realized we were a couple and were going to share the burger, he offered to cut it in half for us and wrapped them individually. ALSO, he messed up on our fries and put chili/cheese on them. He told us and offered us to have them like that at no extra cost, otherwise he'd make it brand new for us. We gladly accepted the fries and said thank you. He could have easily had said nothing and put them aside.

Next time I come to six flags, I know where to drag my friends for a welcoming and delicious...

I have heard a lot of talk about FatBurger over the years so when I found myself in an area with one I decided to give it a shot. I was unimpressed. I ordered the standard FatBurger meal. No alterations. The good: Excellent bun and all condiments were tasty except the relish. It is sweet relish and, in my opinion, clashed with the other sauce flavors. The burger was constructed well. The bad: The patty was dry and too charred. The char flavor overwhelmed the taste. The flavor of the meat was flat. The relish, as previously mentioned, was awful. The fries were too thick and too dense. The fry shapes were inconsistent enough that they didn't cook evenly. I did not try them with ketchup. In-N-Out and the Habit are better burgers. Overall, I would say that the burger was on par with Carl Jr. except for the bun. FatBurger buns...

The entire restaurant was disgustingly dirty! The 3 boys that were there kept talking to each other behind the register and wouldn't acknowledge the 12 customers that were there. All of the tables were filthy as well as the drink bar. Nothing was stocked up. We even had to ask for to go ketchup because there was none in the dispenser. Onion rings were raw. Trashes were full and floors had trash all over. It wasn't super busy that they couldn't have 1 of the 3 employees clean up. Only reason why we ate there was because we were starving and didnt want to go look for another fatburger out of the way of our way home. If the issue isn't resolved we won't be eating...
