Panda Express — Restaurant in California

They stopped serving customers at 8 pm saying they were out of food whereas if online orders are placed, they are taking up the orders. the closing time for the store is 9pm.

I was denied service when I tried to place an order in store saying they were out of food but when i placed an order immediately through the app, my order went through and they got the food ready.

I had placed an order for a plate with two entree and a single bowl. i tendered my feedback coupon to them in order to get an entree free since I have a plate with two entree in my order. the women that preparerd my order argued with me saying that the free entree was for three entree plate and not for a two entree plate. the bill clearly states "receive a free entree item with purchase of a two entree plate).

As if standing in line with a face mask isn't bad enough already (I know). My order consisted of steamed rice, orange chicken and mushroom chicken. Big disappointment when you can't see what is being put in your to go tray. Rice was not fully cooked, Orange chicken was horrible about 8 pics all small and hard and 4 were only breading no chicken inside and the mushroom chicken (where are the mushrooms). Felt like I got a kids meal or they are talking advantage of the current situation and not giving the portions they normally give. I've been to other panda's before all this happened and have always ordered the same entree. I guess I will skip panda takeout until covid19 ends. By the way. Place my order online at 9:37 pm and I got my order at 10:04 while I scheduled to be picked up at 9:55 pm !!!! And what the tell me ? That is not they fault as they received the order at 9:47 !!!
