Greek Chicken — Restaurant in California

Visited this location for the second time yesterday . I was very pleased the first time and so I ordered the 1/4 chicken , gyros , and salad as I did on my first visit . However, once my food came out it looked like about an 1/8 of a chicken or less, definitely a much smaller piece of chicken then I was served just a day ago . At this point I began to think it was not just my imagination that one of the cooks was glaring at me and wanted to say something but I was embarrassed, hungry, and did not want to bother the girls working there though after I regretted not speaking up since I was still hungry. I dont think you should still be hungry after buying a $15 dollar plate of food . I was there at about 9:30 PM and there was several other customers who came in so there should of been plenty of chicken to serve me a healthy consistent portion . I was disappointed in spending that amount and feeling unsatisfied and unfull . Not sure when I will be ready to go back and give them another shot . Consistency is key in any business and cooks shouldn't be mad when customers come customers in close to closing time that's how you get paid you should be happy to have a job and it's only common sense that your going to be working after " closing time" if you work in a restaurant ..... send me a coupon to make up for this please . There seems to be a problem at many food establishments these days with cooks and workers wanting to clean up early and not understanding that "open until" means open until and they are to provide service happily until...

I've been eating at the Greek style Chicken since I've been in El Cajon I think they were on main St in 1980. My dad had a car business on Mollison and Main and that was the go to place for lunch! My family loves it. My family has all left San Diego but when I meet my sister somewhere, I have to bring Greek style Chicken! She craves it and it's envious when I tell her I'm having it. But today, I had to get something different while they are under construction. I tried the Gyro sandwich, it's been a long time since I've had one. I normally get the bone in chicken and fried zucchini. I used to get the number 4 but I can't even eat the pita bread I get to full. The gyro sandwich was definitely a disappointment! It's not the same as it used to be! It doesn't taste the same and it has a funny smell. I didn't not care for it. I didn't like it I'll be honest. I didn't like anything about it. They should bring back the old sandwich! I ate the meat with the tomatoes dipped in the Greek sauce just so I could eat. I did not eat the pita bread. That changed to. That would be a big waste of my calories. I would have brought it back but I live 20 mins away so forget it. I didn't think to go to the other location where I could have got exactly what I wanted. This place has good food, but I'm so sick of them being cheap and petty, I had to stop coming. I've come here least 50 times in the last 5 months and they constantly are not putting in tizekie sauce. The last time we came we picked up our to go order, asked are you sure they're sauce? they said yes we guarantee it we drove 40 minutes all the way home open up the bag and there's no sauce. We called the lady up at the front said there is no way there is no sauce in there and we were trying to get them for more sauce she had the nerve to say hold on I'll put you on the phone with the bagger he guarantees he put sauce in their. And I'm sitting here like what so finally 20 minutes on the phone and all of them were denying they didn't put the sauce in when they have cameras the point is when someone drives an hour round trip to get your food and you can't even throw in an extra sauce because they asked as their sauce and air is then they get home and there is no original sauce and air that is the worst feeling in the world and I'm never come back here ever even though they I'm super good food. The owner of this place is the cheapest bastard on Earth!! hes losing business and his workers are lazy and then when people call the complain they say hold on we don't have a manager let me put the worker on the phone's the bags your meal...
