i don't think I have ever written a bad review before. but this place is so disappointing. tonight was our first experience here and now I understand why it has a 3 star rating.
my husband and I ordered our burritos at the drive through window. the kid who took our order messed it up (i'm assuming he was new and not familiar with the menu or something along those lines. that's ok. I get it.) we realized that he hadn't really listened at all to our order. so we went though it again. he seemed to have gotten it a bit better but we figured we would just verify with the person face to face at the window when we pulled up since there wasn't anyone in line in front of us. she verified that he had in fact taken our order wrong but let us know she couldn't and wouldn't fix it since she "already had the ticket in." she was super rude, really short with her response, and very clearly bothered about us KNOWING our order was going to be wrong. we were giving them the opportunity to fix it which they refused to.
we decided to just be good sports about it and just deal with whatever they were going to send out. we ended up waiting at the window for 10+ minutes for 2 burritos and 2 tacos. which were all wrong. one of our burritos was cold inside, and the wrapper was completely drenched wet, and the tacos were not good at all.
i'm not sure how a burrito shop can mess up burritos. but I will never go back there again. coming from a food and beverage background i can appreciate good service, i can tolerate busy shifts, or training issues, and any other situations that happen in customer service positions. i'm also all for young people having jobs and running establishments, but you can't be rude and bad at your job at the same time.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreFood was good. Pricey but good. I got a quesabirria for my first time and it was honestly pretty delicious.
But let me tell you why my review is low. I went in, and was not greeted, not a big deal i guess since no one was there lmao. I ended up at the kiosk since I didnāt see anyone. I was scrolling through the menu, and the cashier comes in. Didnāt even talk to me or my boyfriend, so I didnāt say anything. Now, Iāve heard at some restaurants that the cooks and servers/cashiers can be a bit handsy with each other or they tend to flirt⦠well this was probably more than that. As Iām ordering I see one of the cooks come to the front with the cashier, and he immediately starts holding onto her waist and trying to dance or something with her. He was trying to hold her hands and she was telling him something. I speak Spanish as well, so I heard a little of what he was saying. He was telling her to pretty much give in, and saying ācome on come onā or something along those lines. I look at my boyfriend and I tell him āwow, thatās actually crazy that theyāre doing that here.ā Then the cook proceeded to ask her questions and he just would not let her go. She was giggly and laughing with him. Get a room š. Anyway , it was really weird and I felt uncomfortable. They didnāt have anyone else in the restaurant and I donāt know what compelled them to be so comfortable doing that, but just thought Iād write it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came through the drive thru to you El cajon location on April 28th, 2025 and ordered water and Cali shrimp burrito. It was going to be my lunch for work that late night. I got to work and realized what I ordered was not what I got so I called and couldnt get through to anyone. Finally I called the next day when you was opened and spoke to a lady and she said she would take my name down and next time I come through you all would fix this and make it right. On May 19th, around 10:45am I came through to retrieve my order that was messed up and the lady at the window told me she could not help me. I asked for a manager and she said she didnt have one there. I told her, well Its rare that I am in El cajon, and you all told me you would fix what I ordered and now your telling me you can not. She said it was because it has been to long. Nobody told me I had to come the same day to get my order right and I am not driving all the way from Delmar for a single burrito. That is ridiculous. I am a loyal customer and get my food here a lot each time I come to El cajon on every other Monday. But I am upset that you gave me someones order and messed up on mine and you cannot fix your mistake nor reimburse me for your mistake. I would really like to talk to the franchsie owner over this and its crazy that I have to write this whole email over a single burrito that you can not remake in...
