Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in California

I am so genuinely impressed by this Jersey Mike's location. Kristen and her team went absolutely the extra mile for a last minute large order for an entire wedding party this past Saturday morning and even going so far as to include an extra note for the bride along with a sweet treat. The level of attention to detail and intentional care put into every single sandwich did not go unnoticed. Not one sandwich had anything wrong, it was clear when I walked in how carefully they were making the sandwiches and ensuring everything was put together the way it was ordered. I was so taken aback by the fantastic attitudes of the staff which tells me their owner loves her employees and takes good care of them. I truly appreciated the level of customer service that was given. I am in the Riverside area and have never come across a Jersey Mike's so clean, attentive and kind to their customers and honestly wish we lived closer. My kids really love this place, but I had a less than stellar experience. We ordered our sandwiches amidst a flurry of sandwich-making activity, and my 5-year-old acting rather wild. I know that I ordered my cheesesteak bowl without cheese, but she didn't note it down, and I failed to notice on the read-back. So, I got home to a bowl I couldn't eat. I called the restaurant and explained the situation, and they said they would remake it. We had already been running late for lunch, so it was about 3:30 when I returned to the restaurant completely famished. The gal at the register took it upon herself to explain that it wasn't company policy to remake a sandwich when the order was read back in person, but she begrudgingly accepted my bowl to remake it. You gotta go in there and meet my boy Dylan. He’s always helping out! Of course they made an outstanding sandwich. I also saw some really good customer service. There’s a gentleman there named Mike. And he most definitely has awesome leadership qualities. I hope that man gets a promotion and a raise soon. But to see how calmly he addressed the customer that was behind me. She had a lot of food concerns, and he was really considerate about them. He was able to tell jokes and keep everyone entertained while he was Cleaning the counter, and doing all the tasks of making sure that her food wasn’t contaminated by whatever she was worried about.
