Jimboy's Tacos — Restaurant in California

Their food always delivers on taste and consistency. They have daily specials to help your budget and explore their menu. This location has a clean dining room, large flat screen TV, and there's seating to accommodate a large party. They have a drive thru. Parking lot is on the smaller side but there's usually a spot whenever I go there. If you're unsure which Mexican fast food you want to go and you're not pinching pennies then go here instead of the Bell. For two people #1 & #2 with two additional tacos and a chicken quesadilla will set you back like $33.00 but you'll be full. The big thing for me is the consistency, tastes like every jimboys I've ever been to yet there's subtle differences at each location. This one is cleaner than some other ones I've gone to but lacks the ambiance that other locations have. I'll always go here when I'm in the area. The extra few bucks really does separate them from the pack, you can taste the quality and fresh ingredients. That being said they are prompt with their service and you get hot food fairly quickly. Jimboy's Tacos in Carmichael used to be an upscale taco joint with a warm and inviting atmosphere and good food. I had not been back since the remodel began months ago and when I returned I was literally shocked at the appearance of the dining area. The comfortable booths and we'll appointed salsa bar is gone! now the dining area can only be described as something you would see at Folsom prison. It's called totally open there's nothing but rows of tables and metal chairs it's the most unattractive uninviting uncomfortable dining area I've ever been in. And to think this was someone's idea for a remodel when they had such a nice restaurant previously blows my mind. The salsa bar has been reduced to essentially a container with buckets. Hell seemed very unpleasant and dirty and yet it's all new. Contacted corporate of course no response I'm afraid jimboy's Tacos what used to be such a good restaurant maybe headed...

The food tastes good, when they get it right. These people are the most incompetent morons I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They make the SAME mistakes almost every time and the only way to prevent this is to double triple check that they've taken your order correctly AND check the bag to make sure everything is even in there to begin with. To top it all off, they don't even give you the correct condiments unless you double check that too. Awful staff, awful location. This place either needs a completely new staff, management and all, or to shut down. The only reason I didn't give them a zero star rating on service is because the review software requires at least one star to publish...
