We went for dinner at 7PM. It was uncomfortably chilly. At first service was great but after dinner arrived our waitress disappeared. Chicken fettuccine was good. The steak was cooked to order but not warm when I received it and had a very wide streak of fat through the middle that was unappetizing. The baked potato was not warm enough to melt the butter. The veggies were still raw. After waiting for our waitress for 30 minutes we asked the hostesses about desert. She was very unfriendly and told us they were out. When I went to pay the bill the requested pie was on display in the case. All in all a very disappointing and unwelcoming experience that cost 90 dollars with appetizer and the signature lemonade. Which appears to have boba pearls but was not. We were not sure what it was. Very hard dark pieces that tasted vaguely of licorice. We...
Read moreJoe's Green Barn was a lovely treat today! They have just opened in the space previously occupied by Niveen's, and the entire interior has been redone. The servers were very friendly and the food was delivered quickly. Soups and salads only took about 5 minutes to arrive after we ordered, and the entrees were soon to follow. I started off with the vegetable beef soup. It was very well-seasoned and full of flavor; the pieces of beef melted in the mouth. The Cajun Chicken Pasta and Chicken Fettuccine were both served with 2 slices of garlic bread, and enough sauce for dipping the bread. They offer several mimosa flavor options, and a selection of beers and wines. The menu is extensive, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, each served all day. When you're finished with the main course, move on to their offerings of cakes, pies,...
Read moreWe have tried eating here multiple times every time was horrible. The food was burnt steaks were tough not cooked as we ordered it service sometimes is good other times it's horrible like the waitresses don't know what they're doing as well as the cooks don't know how to cook properly I've never had a good meal in here and we've been there five or six times hoping that the cooks will learn how to cook something properly. We're done with this place. We used to spend 3 to 5,000 a year at the previous place called naveen's. Before it went downhill as well. I was hoping the new ownership and remodel would improve it's worse. We won't be going back for...
