Juan's Rotisserie Chicken — Restaurant in California

Typically the food is great, been a loyal customer for a few years now and went today and was treated extremely disrespectful by one of the ladies behind the counter. Wanted a dinner special and was told they only have dark meat, which I was fine with till I opened the box and saw I paid nearly $20 for an unbelievably small portion, was told I was given an “extra leg” since they didn’t have white meat. When I asked if I could possibly swap the leg out for an extra thigh since the thigh I was given was EXTREMELY small, the gal became quite hostile and I was told no and they’d would rather give me a refund. Quite sad cause I loved this place but they lost a customer forever. Think twice before going here! I highly recommend Juan Pollo down the road. Much better service and better portions there. Only came here since it was around the corner from me.

I only ever leave reviews if I REALLY like a place or if the service provided was awful, and let me tell you the service here was god awful. Sad, they even have a Bible verse on their counter with Proverbs spelt wrong.

After a long day of running around and not eating, I stopped by Juan’s Rotisserie Chicken and picked up dinner. I realized my order did not include rice so I went back in and purchased some not knowing I left my keys inside my vehicle. I called triple AAA but had a problem with my card. I called my brother and sister-in-law they came over to help. Let me tell u, every employee there went above and beyond!!!!!! Knowing that I’m 38 weeks pregnant & locked out of my vehicle they came outside and asked us to go inside so they can feed the baby!!!! I was shocked and in disbelieve that we still have nice caring people who not only thought of my unborn child, but also to feed my bro & his wife????? That’s crazy!!!! U don’t run into people like that anymore 😕 if that wasn’t enough, they replaced my entire order so I can take hot dinner home. I can’t Thank you all enough, but what you all did for me, my baby, my brother & sister-in-law will come back to you 10xs...

This place is just ok now. It was much better when it was Juan Pollo, while the rotisserie chicken is not bad, what has changed is the service. The service now is horrible. The employees don’t seem to care about the customer. During my most recent visit, I asked for some simple salt pockets, I was rudely told I had ONE included in my meal and I couldn’t get more. Same thing with the salsa under Juan Pollo you were given one, two if asked, now don’t dare ask for extra. Even when offering to purchase it you get resistance.
