I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kaliente, a delightful Salvadoran restaurant that serves an array of mouthwatering dishes, including their famous Pupusas. From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported to El Salvador, surrounded by warm hospitality and the irresistible aroma of traditional cuisine.

I don't recomend to go on the weekends. Before last Saturday May 12, usually we went during week days but the las time they made a mistake in our order. My sister asked for 1 chicken soft taco and for me 2 with beff extra cook. We asked if they can double check our order. They saided that I can eat one of my sisters taco because she already bit the other one, I refused because the meat looks read and she put salsa on top. My sister eat the chicken taco because I didn't tuch it. They took the other plate to the kitchen. When the waitress back with my order she told me sarcastic: " Aqui esta su orden, 2 tacos con carne bien cosinada". Very poor meat. I'm giving the restaurant 2 stars for the decorations. The food: we ordered pupusas, the size was ok. There was barely any chicharron con queso. We ordered tamales de elote- very dissapointed, the tamal was not 100% tamal, it tasted very doughy like they added flour to it...the Horchata drink was very watery and let's talk about the flies and the heat!! It'super hot in the restaurant, I was literally sweating while we waited for our food and since they keep the door open the ammout of flies enering and buzzing around the food was ridiculous.
