The service was some of the worst Iâve encountered in recent memory. We walked in on a relatively slow evening, so there was no excuse for the indifference and borderline rudeness from the staff. We waited nearly 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged usâno greeting, no menu, no drink offer. When someone finally did approach, they seemed annoyed we were even there. It set the tone for the rest of the night. The food, if you can call it that, was equally disappointing. I understand this is a sports bar and expectations should be reasonable, but even basic items like wings and fries were barely edible. The wings were dry, overcooked, and drenched in a sauce that tasted like it came from a generic store-brand bottle. The fries were soggy and clearly reheated. We also ordered nachos, which came out cold in the center and somehow still burned on the edgesâa mystery only explained by poor use of a microwave. Portion sizes were stingy, especially considering the inflated prices. Now, letâs talk about the drinks. They were ridiculously overpriced for what you get. The cocktails tasted watered down, and the beer selection was limited and lukewarm. My friend sent his drink back twice due to it being undrinkably strong the first time and weirdly diluted the second. Either they donât measure their pours, or they donât care enough to get it right. Either way, not worth the money. The environment itself isnât much better. TVs are everywhere, which is fine for a sports bar, but the audio setup is a messâtoo loud in some areas, completely inaudible in others. Combine that with sticky floors, wobbly tables, and the unmistakable smell of stale beer lingering in the air, and it feels more like a dive bar thatâs given up trying than an energetic sports venue. And donât even get me started on the bathroomsâunkept, out of supplies, and borderline unsanitary. Another major issue was the crowd and managementâs failure to manage it. There were clearly intoxicated patrons being overserved, causing uncomfortable situations for other guests. At one point, a loud argument broke out right next to us and no staff intervened. It created an unsafe and chaotic vibe. To top it off, the final bill was full of unexplained charges. When we asked about it, the server shrugged and said âthatâs just how it rings up.â No apology, no effort to clarify. We were essentially charged for their mistakes, and by then, we just wanted to leave. Iâve been to many sports bars, from low-key neighborhood joints to upscale venues, and Rancho Sports Bar ranks near the bottom in terms of overall experience. Itâs clear that management doesnât prioritize customer service, cleanliness, food quality, or value. Itâs not just one thingâitâs a combination of everything that made the visit so thoroughly disappointing. If youâre considering going to Rancho Sports Bar, Iâd recommend looking elsewhere. There are far better places in the area that offer decent food, fair prices, clean environments, and staff that actually care whether or not you have a good time. Until major improvements are made, this place is firmly on my ânever...
Read moreLocals go in the morning time and at night time it turns into something else, they only have one type of crowd. This place used to be fun now there's too many out of towners. The positive side is that they have a roach coach out in the parking lot. The parking space is not big enough. Positive they have a liquor next store right next door and 2 banks in case you need extra money so you can give it away.Btw rancho liquors is one of the best convincing stores around they have a big variety of unique liquor and beers. If you are looking for something special come here they probably have it wine or whatever your poison is. Plus the workers...
