California Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in San Pablo

I called in an order for pick up.... just a fresh roll and 2 Thai ice teas.... came out to about $16. I wanted so much to like this place because I always drive by it and how do you mess up a fresh roll..... easily! The tofu was a small hard sliver of tofu that really did taste like cardboard and the peanut sauce was super thin and watery. The quality of the rice paper was very thick and chewy. The inside of the place was filled with boxes and had one 1-2 tables for customers but it was so dreary and unkept looking I can't see anyone wanting to stay and eat there. I hope they find a renewed passion for the restaurant because you can tell they're barely trying...

I used to love this place years ago thought id try it again. I ordered chicken satay and thai ice tea to go. It was $16.48.and they wanted a tip. The wait was 15 minutes. During the wait I noticed the smell of the place was strong and unapetizing. Then I noticed all the dirty clutter around the register area and the dirty floors. I could see one cooking area in the back cluttered with dirty junk all around it. This place was filthy and cluttered with plastic bins and other junk piled high everywhere. I knew I made a mistake ordering food to eat from this...

I ordered delivery from here and was expecting my pad see ew noodles with pork. First off, the vegetables they used were butter and seemed old. Second, the amount of pork wasn’t satisfactory I got maybe 4 pieces at most. Third, the noodles were nasty. They were mushy and tasted bitter. They were the texture of mashed potatoes and had a weird aftertaste. Gave me a stomach ache after 10 minutes so I couldn’t even finish it. Highly...
