Absolutly Avoid - this is not where where you want to go to eat anything for sure.😒😒😒
I strongly you just skip this stop. I went into the store on Madison Ave near Manzanita last night to purchase a couple of pizzas for a group of people were stuck working late who had helped me earlier. I order a deep dish Canadian bacon & pineapple as well as a classic pepperoni. I knew I was going to arrive close to closing time so I called and tried to order over the phone on my way in. Apparently this store doesn’t accept phone in orders in their last 30 min of business each night so as per instructions from the person who answered I headed into the store to place a counter order. They were still quite busy but I was in no rush so it wasn’t a problem. I was surprised after ordering, paying, and stepping out for a smoke to find the door locked but they were still in there working so again, no problem. Surprisingly when they opened the door to hand me the pizzas they had included a free order of crazy bread for no “apparent” reason. Yay, right? When I dropped the pizza to the guys they noticed immediately upon opening the first box that something was really wrong with the classic pepperoni. Apparently it had gotten a dough bubble that was left unhandled and it was not only inedible it was honestly unpresentable. The guys were gracious but then they found the deep dish pizza to be a bacon and pineapple pizza rather then the expected Hawaiian style they had requested. Now I am a very understanding and patient person so I although frustrated understood that I had ordered a specialty item just before closing and knew these young ladies had worked through a presumably busy holiday shift just the two of them…that I had seen anyway. I saved the uneaten product in the boxes, pictures of its appearance at the time we opened the box, the receipt, and the order number. With no desire to get anyone in trouble I called and requested my money back figuring I would try another place tonight. When the person who answered the phone at 10a explained she had made my order the night before I was appalled and felt a bit bad about lodging my complaint. That feeling was quickly replaced with disappointment in her admitting and dismissing so easily that she for some reason believed me about the condition of the pepperoni pizza (obviously she knew she was handing me at least one inferior product) but she told me I was lying about the condition of the second item ordered. When I directly asked her if she had knowingly handed me an unacceptable pizza she placed me on hold. My frustration level hadn’t even began the test the “store manager” had in store for me when several minutes later she replaced the first lady with no introduction. This store manager without even hearing that I still did and do have proof of the less than ethical business transaction -- rproceeded to tell me it did not matter that they had messed up my order if the guys ate the second pizza she would not replace it. She then proceeded to tell me I was lying anyway…she personally knew the second pizza was fine because her infallible, business contentious employee, told her so. I wanted to just hang up. I could not believe what I was hearing. The manager informed me that she would not replace my money but if I would come out of my way and provide the uneaten product and my receipt she would replace the lessor priced pizza only. I felt not only had they absolutely robbed me, they were not even polite enough to disguise their amusement about my inability to do anything about it. I asked for the young ladies employer contact info she actually laughed as she informed me this business owner isn’t even in the country. What a most disgraceful way of treating your customers. I have not been treated with such disrespect ever I don’t believe. At least they were kind enough to inform me I can submit a survey online about my problems before she...
Read moreThere is a friendly woman there by the name of Tasha. a little over a year ago I complained about a visit that I had with an older woman who is extremely rude and had no customer service skills. I went in there again today hoping for a better experience and that is exactly what I had. I have worked in the customer service field for almost 10 years. Tasha was extremely busy when I walked in there were about 6 people in front of me and about 3 already waiting. I was a little nervous to order pizza there because I didn't want to wait too long. but Tasha was very friendly and had a great smile and over all her customer service skills or top notch! I ordered something that would have to be made fresh and she told me it would take about 5 minutes I paid for my order and sat down with my son, and we waited about 7 minutes. Tasha was very busy this whole time constantly taking orders running around and making sure everybody was satisfied. I really hope that her boss or management gets to see this. a lot of people nowadays don't get recognized for their hard work, & I really hope that she does! Thank You Tasha for your wonderful customer service and friendly smile you made me and my child feel...
