Loreto's Taco Shop — Restaurant in California

I’ve been coming here for a week straight due to my home being remodeled, I can’t cook so we go with the easiest route. A nearby fast food service . At least that was our case . I’ve bought different combo plates and today I re bought not 1 but 2 chilaquiles combo plate, I’ve bought this 2 times before today and they always had rice. Today wasn’t the case so I drove back hoping to get the missing item. I was Informed that plate doesn’t come with rice but I explained every plate I’ve bough has had rice . The combo plate is over 12$ it’s just tortillas cut up with sauce and an egg with beans :,) I spend 41$ today and everyday I’ve spent 30$-50$ you’d think customer service would’ve had the lady wanting me to come back , I’ve bought their large pina water which all overpriced but in the moment you’re hungry and as long as you get what you asked for you’re content. She didn’t care , she was willing to sell me 2 sides for an additional 6$ plus tax . I looked at her because I woke at a restaurant and my logic is to do anything I can to have paying customer leave happy and want to come back. That won’t be my case. I drove back home to cooled down food , the food today was flavorless , the beans tasted bland and the Chile relleno combo plate I got uses the same sauce used in the enchiladas which are stuffed with the cheese they use to top the plates. The sauce is very salty . The Chile relleno is stuffed with shredded cheese the same cheese they use to top it. It’s all overpriced . The chilaquiles have a tomato sauce that wasn’t seasoned and the tortillas I asked for weren’t the correct ones. Overall the saddest experience I’ve had and I won’t ever go through again.. I don’t recommend this place , take the drive and go somewhere...

I live 25 minutes from this taco shop but I’ll travel for their food because I love the ground beef tacos. They got my order wrong, I called them when I got home and spoke to Brenda, the same lady that took my order. I told her my order was wrong and she told me whenever I decide to come back, bring my receipt and they will remake my food. I went back the very next day with my receipt and they denied to remake my order and told me that I had to bring the food back, which I was never told that until I arrived. They told me to come back at 10am the next day to try to speak to someone else about my order, knowing I live far away from they’re business. I just walked out. I definitely know for sure that I was discriminated against, they told me one thing on the phone and denied to remake my order in person. I’ve never had blatant discrimination in my face that way. I visited they’re business twice and paid my money and never got the correct food. I am extremely disappointed and me and my friends or family will not support this establishment again. I do...

The burritos are now made smaller. I used to feel like they can beat other burritos because the size and the price but for some reason they're not made the same size anymore.loved this shop for about 20 years..thru any owners, always good..hard to believe..time has flown.been there at midnight when i was pregnant, and all my kids love this place- even after moving to chula vista for a time, we drove BACK to SV, just for this taco shop! the tacos didnt get better, closer to the boarder!!- i had to come back to this place.! just sayin..so good..and the portion size is not to be compared so far, that we've found as a family on a budget!!.. they should give me a 'mixed burrito" for that review..(joke.)

Servings are big. Price is good. U can share often cuz its good amount. When my kids were teens, they could even share carne asada fries. So not bad deal...
