Medrano's Mexican Restaurant - Quartz Hill — Restaurant in California

This was our first time at this Medranos location. On Saturday has Karaoke night. That was entertaining, But, everytime the door to the bar opened, we were startled by how loud it was. Although there is talent in Quartz Hill. We ordered Elephante Burrito w no beans, carne asada, sour cream and tomato on sep plate, came w/soup or salad (thats alot of food), it was amazing. took more than 1/2 home. Enchilada plate, shredded beef w/ (rice and beans, out of this world crazy good),also has choice of soup or salad. It was incredible. Again took more than 1/2 home. Our daughter had the Shrimp Scampi, rice and beans, salad w/ Caesar dressing. She was not wowed. The dressing she said had bad aftertaste, Im wondering if was the old fashioned Caesar made w/ raw egg and anchovy, evoo salt n pepper. i didnt try it, but if you want to order it be sure to ask if it is original caeser w/ raw egg and anchovy, and sample it b4 you order it on your salad. The shrimp (which I did try,) was overcooked, rubbery, and had no hint of scampi or any seasoning. Our server, a very attentive young man, offered to bring anything she wanted, sadly she wasnt interested. Without missing a step he graciously removered it from our bill. During our meal our lemonades were always full. The hot fresh chips and salsa also served with a bean dip, in and of itself are worth goin to Medranos regularly. Sometimes a plate doesnt make the mark, this was one of those times. The rest of our dinner was incredible, made to perfection. And left over were devoured by the other 2 kids at home. We will definitely be going again soon (just no sea food next time.) Maybe Sunday brunch for all you can eat buffet. Please try Medranos in Quart Hill, or one of the other locations around Lancaster. I'm a doordasher and I've been picking up at this restaurant for about 5 maybe 6 years. The staff is great. Recently I've been dealing with a lot of stress and anxiety picking up orders. Theres a woman there who's very critical of me and the past 2 times has been giving a really hard time on the way I pick up orders. I've never had a complaint from a customer or doordash about my service. I handle every order with the most care one could give. My ratings are high which is why I get the larger orders. I cant deal with being picked on everytime I go in. I jist can't. This job was stress free amd ideal for me until now. I don't know what has caused this to happen. I'm never rude and wait patiently while orders are being prepared. I'm scared to even go back to this restaurant. It just feels like bullying at this point. I just can't do it anymore. It's really killed ky enthusiasm for picking up an order at this location. I guess because I'm a dasher people feel that they can treat me however they want. We're just people trying to...

Tonight we came for a friends birthday "ADEN" was our waiter on this night. When I say He made drinks for us that was incredible. The Food was Delicious as usual. what made this night special was "ADEN" Insisted on my friends Birthday Be Celebrated with his gift of a drink "Watermelon Margarita" that had my friend feeling so Happy on Her Birthday!!! ** Erik has been our Host/Waiter everytime I have patronized. I've been to every single "Madrano's" In Antelope Valley. I must say "Erik's Customer Service" makes you want to take the drive for the good food. The Drinks are always made to perfection. The Food is always 5 Stars.
