Panera Bread — Restaurant in California

Edit update: It would take a lot for me to update my review from earlier that was a one-star review and I am leaving it just for comparison, but I want to say I feel like management must have really taken comments into consideration because my experience today was the complete opposite. Food portions were generous and fresh. The girl who took my order was absolutely stellar and sweet spirited. The atmosphere is very pleasant and clean. I believe in second chances and I'm glad that I gave this location one. My review went from my one star to a five star! Keep up the good work! @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

THIS IS SPECIFICALLY RE: THE 4S RANCH LOCATION:

Rude, dirty, and the prices keep going up while the portions keep getting smaller. Ewwww. Also, while the cashier had a horrible Mean Girls attitude in general, I feel like she was rude to me specifically because of my age, gender and ethnicity. Nothing says "good morning" like dealing with a 👑 🐝 for breakfast.

And speaking of breakfast, no kidding when they say "over easy" for the egg sandwich...I took a bite and raw egg EXPLODED all over me, the table, etc.

No lids replenished for tea/coffee, tables not clean, always out of hot water, even though it's first thing in morning, person who called me to get pick up my food was as weird and rude as the cashier (Is this place run by a girl-gang or something?!)

$9.78 for a lousy raw egg sandwich, cup of cold tea and service by fembots with the personality of a celery. 😑

The only reason I tried this dump again was because some unsuspecting out-of-town friend had sent me a gift card. Ugh. Now I remember why I stopped coming here a long time ago.

Do yourself a favor...if you go to Panera, go to the Carmel...

Not impressed!!! 8 in our group. One had ALS. We went in a little before 5. Got her seated. She at first asked for item and we were told only for breakfast. Had to go back to see what else she might like. No sorry they ran out of that item. 3rd item, they only serve on Friday but on the menu it said Wednesday. Ok... By this time the rest of the group was almost done eating. She finally ordered a chicken and pasta dish. The chicken was one chunk about a table spoon and the pasta was very buttery with little sauce. I'm not sure who the young man was his badge said Mason but the receipt said Cameron. He tried very hard to help but it was all to no avail in the end. It's not the only time we've all gone to Panera but for us it will be the last time. Especially after looking at the fine print on the menu and seeing that everything is subject to change whether it's an item or the price. It doesn't take a minute to black out items on the menu. Sorry Panera you're food and service just don't rate well...

I am not sure what is happening with this Panera location, but the food quality and service seems to be declining. I placed an order today for Broccoli Cheddar Soup along with a Frontega Chicken Sandwich.

The soup has absolutely no taste and the consistency is not thick at all. It is like runny water and the sandwich was hard as a rock with barely any Chicken. I also asked for couple of pickles during my in-cafe pickup and the ladies looked at each other, zero communication until one of the ladies stepped up and said I will give that to you.

I periodically come to this location either I will eat in or have a pickup done and the last couple of times the food quality has not been up to par. The worst part is the cost of food it keeps increasing and I easily spend about $20 plus dollars. I would except the quality and the quantity of food would be palatable.

It would be appreciated if management can make some changes or have some sort of quality standards...
