Ramone's Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in California

If it would not be for the consistency of the baked goods, particular the cardamom and tumeric bun, I would never come back here and rarely do,so, but once in a blue moon find.myself with this option. I have been visiting here for approximately 9 years, at times very long visits, at times, many shorter ones. At no point in time have the two women greeted me with a smile or any kind.of friendliness. I understand some days are rough, but over 9 years, they stood out with hostile behavior towards me when I great them with a smile and a Good Morning every time. What is going on with these two? It is hard to believe two people working together would be as miserable as they behave all the time. I hope they will eventually dig themselves out of their own misery and understand it is not worth their time to be miserable and hostile. Life is short, try to see...

First time here and it's amazing! They have everything from cookies to pastries to cakes to sandwiches! Check out the photos with prices!

Coffees great, majority of the staff are friendly and helpful and ordering was smooth! Definitely going back next time we're here! Salami sandwich with Pesto spread was super good! They even use iced coffee cubes so your coffee doesn't get watered down! Very smart idea!

I enjoy the atmosphere, coffee and scones at Ramone’s, but one thing that really bothers me is that they serve coffee in “to-go,” cups even when people are staying in to drink their coffee. To reduce waste, I’d really like to see Ramone’s change its policy and use glass cups if people are staying there to enjoy their coffee. That’s why I’m only giving them 4 stars.
