Every dish tastes like it’s made with love straight from a home kitchen in Punjab. From the buttery, rich dal makhani to the perfectly spiced chole bhature and melt-in-your-mouth paneer bhurji, everything is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Their parathas are flaky, generously stuffed, and remind me of Sunday mornings at my grandma’s house.

This dhabha has my heart. Omg what a setup, totally loved it. Suchhhh yummy food, so clean, and their service is awesome. We drove from Vegas and took a pit stop here at Bakersfield for the night. I am sooo glad that I looked for Indian restaurant near me and stumbled upon this dhabha. My daughter who eats absolutely no spicey, ate dal makhni with rice(which was mild spicy) she loved the food. That itself is an achievement, to top it our food was awesome too. Absolutely in love with this cute setup and absolute hygiene they maintained. ITS A MUST VISIT IF YOU COME TO BAKERSFIELD. Awesome Indian food! We were passing through Bakersfield during lunch hours and a random Google search led us to Apna Dhaba. For a party of two we ordered one each of Amritsari kulcha which came along with chole, garlic naan, tandoori chicken, dal makhani, raita (all dine in) and chilled kheer (to go). The food didn't disappoint. Very soft melt in mouth tandoori food, the dal makhani was very light in tummy. We didn't feel heavy after having all the delicious food.
