Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in California

I usually don’t have any issues with the food here, but the service today was frustrating. Online it says this location closes at 9pm on Sundays. I showed up at 8:12pm and was told they were already closed and only picking up orders that had already been placed online or by phone. That doesn’t make sense when the posted hours say otherwise, and nothing was posted in-store or online about an early cutoff.

What made it worse was that I saw other customers walk in right before me and place an order. If there’s a rule about stopping dine-in or counter orders earlier, that should be clearly posted. Otherwise, it just feels like the staff wanted to close up early, which isn’t fair to...

Yes it is “the last honest pizza” and it sure is good. They don’t skimp on toppings, their salad bar is excellent with many choices (not many salad bars around anymore) and is fresh and constantly refreshed. The owners are extremely friendly and warm. What gives them FIVE stars is an INCREDIBLE wine list. Their wine list rivals if not EXCEEDS the white table cloth restaurants in the area. If you’re willing to pay you can find some fabulous choices by the glass. It’s obvious ownership places a high value on great wine.
