The manzanita location needs a better server. Where do I begin. Only thing good about today was seeing my friends. The lady with the pink cropped hair is rude and very, very ,very unprofessional. I understand a language barrier but I also understand when human kindness is lacking. I had to ask her to take my order twice and she told me to wait after skipping me. “ Twice “ or maybe she forgot me… but how do your forget to take someone’s order? The entire table was afraid to ask for anything else or add to the order. All my friends food came out and I still waited for her to take my order. We had 2 other friends that came in late (15) mins and she took their order immediately and I asked can I place mines now she said wait…. again with an attitude of anger and a tinge of irritation. I was sorta surprise because I expected better behavior from an older woman. Not really sure why she snapped at me. Also , One of my friends expensive suit was ruined due to her lifting a plate over him and salsa dripped down on his suit. First I’ve never left a restaurant without tipping I always tip even with bad service but there was nothing I could give to her reward the treatment, behavior and lack of professionalism here. And I refuse to encourage this type of behavior as acceptable. I understand when people are having a off day but this woman was deliberate in her behavior. The best thing that came out of the situation is I called the Lincoln location to speak with the owner of the company, and I got his daughter and she was very very kind. She was very nice and apologetic about the experience which I really appreciated and was familiar with server I was talking about . If I ever try this place again it will only be at the Lincoln ca location. I don't feel comfortable or drawn to spend my money at the other location until the lady with the pink hair can receive training and learn how to treat customers and learn human kindness. She really makes this...
Read moreOk they only got 1 star and should be glad they receive that! Not only is the food horrible, the service is even worse! Both times I went were terrible! The only reason I came the first time was with my bf because he has ordered something from there and I had already ate so I didn't order anything but even that time was bad! The woman that greets you has the worse attitude! I mean she not only looks evil but is! It was between she had a bad day, didn't like females or doesn't like black folks! Anyway I figured I'll never go there, but I had to wait on an appt right around the corner so I stea of leaving g and came back I was hungry so I said let me give them a second chance! I went in and same woman, no smile and said yes...I said yes can I see a menu so she just grabbed it and handed it to me and then I said can I sit wherever and she says u want to eat here?? With the biggest attitude and I said yes I do. When she cam over the service was just mean! She was like what do u want to order? I said I'll have trh burrito bowl. I asked which meat would u recommend and she was like it doesn't matter what I like it's what u like! So I ordered a chicken burrito bowl and the picture reflects what I got! Total $18.00,now that's not bad if it's worth it! She came back and basically threw the receipt at me and said thank u! Didn't ask me if I needed anything or check on me period! I'm good I'll never go there again and shame on whomever gave them more...
Read moreI am thrilled to share my wonderful experience with Rubio's Tacos & Grill in Carmichael, CA! Jimmy and Leticia Gr have been steadfast supporters of United Sikhs for over five years, and today, their generosity truly shone through. They donated 50 fresh veggie burritos to Gurdwara Sant Sagar, and they were absolutely phenomenal!
The tortillas were exceptionally soft and fresh, a perfect base for the scrumptious filling. The combination of potato and green pepper was spiced to perfection, delivering a delightful burst of flavor in every bite. The cheese was incredibly tasty, adding a rich, savory touch to the burritos. Not only were they delicious, but they were also incredibly satisfying and filling.
Everyone at the Gurdwara loved these incredible burritos, and we are deeply grateful for Jimmy and Leticia's unwavering support. Their dedication to the community, combined with their exceptional culinary skills, makes Jimmy's Peruvian & Mexican Restaurant a true gem. If you're in Sacramento, make sure to visit and enjoy their fantastic food while supporting a business that genuinely cares about giving back to the community.
