Sacramento Pizza Connection — Restaurant in California

I grew up in Sacramento, but haven't lived there in 15 years. And I still think about this pizza. When I spent weekends with my dad, he would order pizza and wings over the phone. I have such fond memories of dessert pizza, and watching tv with bunny ears to catch the signal. The recession was hard. Found the staff a little distant. Tired this place out for the first time felt the pizza missed something. It was off but unable to tell why. Our best guess was the cheese, tasted kinda like the cheese was made from string cheese and was waxy. It wasn't a great pizza and priced slightly high for what it was. This has to be one of the best pizzas I had in a long time. The taste was sensational and the cook was perfect. Not too crispy not soggy. The cheese was perfect and tasted really nice and smooth. The place is really cozy and the owner was very nice. They accommodated my request not to include pork through online order. I hope they fix the phone soon because I will be ordering many times in the future. I live 5 minutes away and am so happy to have a new favorite pizza spot...
