Rusty's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in California

Dont order through the phone. I usually give 5 stars to ALL Rustys but the last time i ordered from this location over the phone they gave my child the wrong pizza and it made him Nauseous. Theres a guy who is miserable on the phone line he lies to customers about where the food gets delivered he does whatever he wants. I dont understand why he is so miserable if he gets paid for his awful phone service. Because of this guy Rustys is losing alot of customers they should record the phone calls so they can witness his awful lies and service for themselves. I believe in Karma and it aint nothing nice this guy has got to go for the workers who are Respectful at Rustys Locations Much Respect and Appreciation. There is no excuse for treating customers badly when because of the customers this type of awful workers are being paid. If i worked at Rustys pfff i would enjoy putting a smile on peoples face and i would enjoy all the good food its very unfortunate that Customer Service has gone Downhill when its so simple. Poor Delivery guy. Honestly. These people put him in a tough position. I called to order a pizza and asked to pay in person, not realizing my fiance didn't have the money in cash. Knowing they take card payments over the phone, my fiance calls back promptly to pay with his card. The guy over the phone says he can't help and tells him to address the problem to the delivery driver. When the driver came and we told him the problem and that the guy at the store told us to tell him and he would sort it out, the driver responded with, "Me? Why me? I don't have a machine or anything to run your card. Why would they tell you that?". My 90 year old roomate had to loan me the cash to pay him so he wouldnt have to call the Parlor and save everyone a headache. * I just want to point out, that almost every time we call in an order here, the people who answer the phone almost always have a bad attitude. Its so noticable it makes you wonder if they even like their job* The pizza is good here but I'd prefer to save myself the grief and just order from somewhere else. I can tell you this. If your tastes are similar to mine - growing up feeling like Round Table Pizza was the best existing option.. Rusty's is excellent. The absolute best tasting pizza is individual size, you get a must better ratio of crust to non-crust. If you are too hungry for a single individual pizza to do the job, get two. Or three. Just be willing to wait the ten minutes, pretend the slices aren't there. It's not that they are bad, they just aren't going to be as fresh. The individual pizzas are five bucks each. Sweet deal.

The salads at Turnpike are not as good as the salads at other places, you don't get to make it yourself and it's more expensive somehow. Just stick with the individual pizzas and you'll be glad you did.

I've been going to Rusty's once or twice a day for a couple weeks now. Too good. The Rusty's on Calle Real and Storke are good too. I just wish they had some kind of frequent pizza customer program to get free pizza if you keep going. And I wish you could order the individual size pizzas on their website. You...
