I had the pleasure of working with owner and head chef Jeff when I worked at Mobo Sushi. He is dedicated to a clean restaurant and fresh food which is super important to me. He’s also very thorough. I love all the rolls and the fish is very fresh tasting. Always best to go when he is working. Also you couldn’t ask for a nicer couple to run a business in Felton. We’re lucky to have them here. He and his wife run the business together and they are some of kindest people I know. They hire sweet younger local kids to serve and it keeps the place feeling relaxed and family-oriented. Def a family friendly place. I’m so glad they opened this place in a Felton. We really needed more diverse restaurants. All I ask is that they add the specials to the online menu here because they’re good! Yum! Some fan favorites to try are the Crunch Flying Tiger, Bonny Doon, and for veggie the Guide Roll and Yam Yam are super Fun! And for trying something new the Zayanta and Becca are interesting and the Fancy Dragon or veggie version are crowd pleasers cuz they’re more like art...

When and how did sushi and Christina Aguilera become a thing?), the prices and especially the food. We had a hot sake (so good), veggie tempura, salmon sashimi and the crunchy tiger roll. WOW. Everything was sooo good. The salmon was like butter and the roll was a flavor rollercoaster of delight. My wife and I get around to a lot of sushi places, from LA to SF to Lahaina, and I have to say, our new little sushi joint in Felton stands up to...
Read moreUpdate: three years later, and we're still going to Sushi San regularly. The three photos are from today: Donut Roll, Sashimi Donburi, and a combo (I forget which one).
I was dragged in here and really didn't expect much, and was pleasantly surprised! Despite its location in a quiet corner of a shopping center, Sushi San was awesome! They have some unusual items, like the hamachi kama and age dashi tofu (deep-fried tofu), the pickles are awesome, and the presentation is beautiful. Next time I'll try more of their appetizers.
My friends got sushi rolls, which also looked pretty good. But you could make a meal out of the appetizers and get some sake...
