Taco Bell — Restaurant in California

This Taco Bell has to be considered the worst of the worst as they are disconcerting in serving food as ordered, their tortillas are served directly from their cooler despite placing warm food in them, food was observed on their floor and their staff does not tell the truth. Specifically, I arrived by vehicle at 5:15pm and attempted to open their lobby doors which were all locked despite a sign on the windows stating Lobby Open. I drove through their drive through and ordered 4 beef burritos and 3 beef soft tacos and within 30 seconds the order was placed in a sealed bag. Before leaving I asked the Teller why are the doors locked when the sign states the Lobby is open and he advised me that this is the way it is and apologized. When I arrived at home all of the ordered beef burritos and tacos were actually chicken and the tortillas were all cold. I immediately drove back to Taco Bell and again went through their drive through to report their mistake. A new female Teller was present who took the food bag and my receipt. An apparent Manager returned and said he would prepare a new corrected order for me and within 1 minute handed me a new sealed bag which I opened in his presence and again found the tortillas cold. I refused the order and requested my money back. The Manager then told me to come inside and he would refund me my money. In response I told him the doors were locked as I was here 15 minutes ago. In response the apparent Manager stated the doors have always been open, as well as threatened to call the Police if I refused his request. Upon entering the restaurant I observed food on the floor. Upon pointing it out to a worker he laughed and walked away. The original Teller was also present however he now claimed that the doors were always open.The Manager requested my receipt as the female Teller denied me handing it to her. The Manager refused to acknowledge the cold tortillas and eventually refunded my money back to me. I will never return. So I visited this location on 1/12/2022 at approximately 9:08pm. I entered the drive thru and placed my order. I had one vehicle ahead of me and proceeded in watching for 20 minutes as the vehicle ahead of my waited to get their order.

I then pulled forward and soon observed two other vehicles behind me who were waiting for things to speed up.

I paid for my order and I had to ask to get my card back from the guy working the register. He looked at me dumbfounded for a moment.

He soon gave me my drink and my card back. Then asked if I wanted my receipt. I told him yes please. I then waited as the guy working the register was talking with another employee. I observed the guy working the register to not have a mask on, but the other employee who he was talking to did. Kinda odd but whatever.

I soon got my food and didn't get what I ordered. I noticed I was charged for items I did not order but got more food on their error anyway.

By this time I was close to running late for work and didn't ask fkr the order to be corrected. I also took note they use to repeat the orders back to customers at the drive thru to ensure they had the correct order.

This location is not a location I would recommend especially if your in a hurry for food and need to be somewhere. Expect to wait, then when you think they are going to hurry up, expect to wait...

Best part of my trip was IAN at the drive-thru. He was very polite and handled my order with professionalism.

The food (which IAN was not in charge of and deserves no blame) was haphazardly pur together with barely any chesses on the Tacos and the Mexican Pizza had meat on one side beans on the other. The fun part was trying to eat the Mexican Pizza as it was not cut into fourths like normal, so it was hard to even eat it. It took me about 10 minutes to get home but seemed to pretty cold when I ate but who knows

Overall, it was good but for the store to be practically empty and I was the only one in drive-thru throughout my order, the food should have came better pre-pared.

This was only my second time at this location and Ill probably stop again on way home, so I don't want to seem harsh.
