Verano Cafe — Restaurant in California

My wife and son went there yesterday 3-23-24 and unfortunately they're experience was not very good. My wife ordered pancakes bacon and sausage one order for her and one order for my son 45 minutes later only one order showed up in 15 minutes after that the waiter came back asked if they needed anything else and was notified that he had not placed her order. As a result they had to cook her order and didn't get her food until my son was pretty much finished with his. They then forgot her bacon and sausage that was supposed to be part of the combo. In the meantime they were sitting outside and it rained and there were no umbrellas. At the end of the meal almost an hour and a half later they did not offer any compensation or comp any food for making a mistake and putting in her order. We are all about supporting small business but these people need six more months to work the kinks out before we're going...

Verano Café Review

I recently visited Verano Café and, while the vibe of the place was great and the location was nice, the overall experience left much to be desired. The biggest issue right off the bat was the parking... There was no dedicated parking at all, and I had to park down the street, which was really inconvenient.

As for the food and drinks, I was disappointed. The orange juice was downright nasty, and the food wasn’t even subpar. It had a lot of room for improvement. The service didn’t help either—the staff seemed inattentive and, strangely, they were wearing t-shirts from other restaurants while using supplies from those places too. It was kind of embarrassing, to be honest.

I do think Verano Café has potential, but they definitely need to step up their game to find it. With some attention to their food, service, and overall professionalism, they could turn...

Good portions for the price and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised to see such an expansive menu. They also do breakfast which I'm excited to go back and try. My friend and I shared the bone marrow which wasn't bad but I have very high expectations so thats probably more me. The salad was good which we also shared but the burger took the win for the price and it was perfectly cooked. The scallop pasta was also delicious. I love the coziness of this spot. It has a very ld school rustic feel with cute old farmhouse tables, it's just cozy. I really hope this place makes it at the spot because so many places have cycled through here. It feels like. I'm totally coming back for...
