Sadly, I have to amend my Review.
I'd loved Sparc up until today, when I attempted to process an order for pickup. Unfortunately, because I proactively paid in advance, thinking this would be the best solution, they denied allowing my wife to pickup the order, sighting a California law prohibiting them from giving Cannabis products to anyone other than the person who placed the order.
Now, this has never been an issue in the past, because, apparently, I'd never 'paid in advance'. Now, some of you might think, 'well that's not a big deal', except that the whole reason this is an issue is that Sparc moved their local Sonoma Delivery to their Napa Store, which consistently is out of the products we normally buy, forcing the in-store pick-up.
Now, this could also have been easily addressed by the staff; they could have cancelled my order and allowed my wife to purchase, called me and explained the situation, but no...just, 'too bad, so sad...he'll have to come in.'
Well, I cancelled my order and will never patronize Sparc again, which is sad as there are many team members we like to see and engage with; however, given the Customer Service aspect and unwillingness to work with a customer to resolve the issue will preclude me from doing business with them in the future.
Farewell, Sparc.
*Edit: After talking with my wife, she did mention that they offered to call, however, she said, 'He's already had a shit day and that likely will not go well', and that was true. I was having 'a day', and given that we were out of 'product', I had attempted to place the order for delivery, but the desired item was out of stock in Napa, from where deliveries are now made. So, I arranged a pick up.
Mind you, this was also my first interaction with the new website which I had to resign up for as their website migration apparently did not include Users nor their credentials. This added to my growing frustration.
Additionally, the check-out was different; something that I can only attribute to the web migration, too. I suspect, in hindsight, that this new system is what may have prevented the Sonoma staff what immediately addressing the issue.
So, it comes to this. Sparc has reached out, even at a corporate VP level to address this concern, which I greatly commend, offering a generous solution, however, I must decline. Given what's transpired, it's now a matter of principle for me...'if they called 10-minutes later and did what I would have thought they would have done in the first place, why didn't they?'.
So, here's what I will say: Sparc IS, and always was, a great dispensary. They have excellent pricing...after all, since I'm not shopping there anymore, so I know what their competitors are selling at, and they are, by far, the best value. Great selection...except if you want it delivered; then, you are at the mercy of Napa's inventory. That said, given this event and what I was told when Sparc attempted to contact me, I suspect they will be more diligent in keeping the stock levels at a minimum to support both in-store retail AND delivery. The staff are great...when their hands aren't tied by systems. If the new online system somehow was the source of this, then all I can say is that it's rollout lead to this misfortune. Judge for yourself. I am but one voice and this is my perspective and perspective is reality. So, read this and take it for MY experience, which up until this incident, was exemplary at the Sonoma location. I mean, my wife made them homemade (not 'enhanced', mind you) cookies just because we LOVED them. McKenna when she was there, Nick, Tara and the rest of the crew are great, and I wish them all the best. I just won't be there to see it.

Sparc just never disappoints me‼️ This time I had Brea help me and she also was an encyclopedia full of knowledge😁 Showed me the new flyer for February with the product sale dates and I'm glad one of my products is coming on sale during the month, yes🙌 I so much enjoy the young man who greets me at the front door...he is such a positive personality, smiles when you arrive and smiles and says Goodbye as you leave. AWESOME TEAM‼️‼️👍💖
Had to make my stop at Sparc before I left town because they have the best selection and prices‼️ And there was Jackie with her bright eyes and big smile greeting me and waiting to help if I needed it🥰 Thank you again for your wonderful team and I love the fact you have a sale flyer every month🤭 keep up the great work you guys🙌
Went into your dispensary yesterday and as always greeted with smiles and kindness of wanting to be of help. Knew what I wanted to get and all of a sudden I had a question. And there was Michael smiling and ready to help me and full of answers cause I had more than one question. Thank you again. I enjoy coming in there‼️
Went in there yesterday afternoon Friday of Memorial weekend and greeted by Jackie, just her greeting alone is so uplifting and happy😅 once again she doesn't fail me I learned something new from her again🤭 and she never makes me feel like I'm asking a dumb question. I love coming to your dispensary and Jackie is quite the team player you got a great employee🤗
Taylor was extremely helpful in directing me to what I was looking for and informed me of what was on sale. Also wanted some direction on edibles for my needs and he explain the different products and made my selection much easier. Once again great team and prices‼️🤭
Another pleasant visit at Sparc this morning and I haven't been there in about 3 weeks because they had such good sales I stocked up and didn't need to go for a bit, so thank you for your great sales🤑 Jeffrey assisted me and I bought two new products which I am very pleased with. He explained the new product to me and consulted another team member to give me more knowledge of one product. Great people, great products and awesome team😤 Really wish you had a store in every County🙌😂
Had a wonderful learning experience today with Mayra. Last time I was at the dispensary I tried a new cartridge brand it was awesome! Looked for it again today found the brand but not the flavor I had tried last time so Mayra took quite a bit of time researching that brand and comparing them for me so I could find the best one that suited me. Well it fits just fine Mayra😂 Thank you so much for all your time today you really went beyond the extra mile🤗...

But the young lady who advised me and answered all my questions, and introduced me to Nick, did not have a name tag I could see. I want her to get 5 (or10) stars too.
