Korean Restaurant — Restaurant in Callaway

This store reminds me a small mom-and-pop shop in South Korea (countryside). The owner and other workers are hardworking people for sure and never lose smile on their face (much appreciate that from a customer perspective). This store serves two main purposes.

One purpose is a Korean grocery store where they sell essential Korean items to locals. From Korean spices to famous Korean pre-made side dishes (ban-chan), they are all great (even prices are right on).

Second purpose is a Korean restaurant. Their menu has been expanded but still limited. If you have tried Korean food from big cities (e.g.: Duluth Georgia), their food may taste different and may not like it. Their dishes are more like home-cooked meals than typical Korean restaurant style food which attracts me the most though. You can always find restaurant style Korean foods in bigger cities, but home-cooked style Korean food are rare to find. Friendly service and delicious food are the best ingredients I could ever ask for.

Wonderful restaurant!! I recently moved to the area and was craving good Korean food after leaving ATL. This place came highly recommended and it's well deserved!! Amazing staff and everything is cook to order. I ordered half the menu and only had to wait around 20 minutes, perfect to browse the shop half. The tteokbokki was perfectly chewy and spicy, the japchae was amazingly made (they even made it w/o meat for me!), and the beef bulgogi was incredible. Great, home-style meal! We had the Haemul Pajeon (crispy seafood pancake), Topokki (spicy rice cakes), Jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), and Pork Bulgogi (spicy marinated pork). Everything was delicious and the food was seasoned well (not too salty). The Jjamppong is made to order and the seafood and noodles were cooked perfectly. The Bulgogi is a house blend marinade.
