Went to Big Lots there in Tyndall Parkway, with some family members about a week ago, so one of my family members could pick out some furniture wished she did, and the Hispanic guy that was working in the furniture department was very nice and everything had gone through fine with him and the manger, because I think the Hispanic guy was new, but it still was no problems at all. The new guy Hispanic guy that works in the furniture department had called and said your order is ready for pick up. So, we arrived there to pick up the furniture for the family member and old boy that's when the problems stated. The manger Justin was very rude, tell me that the family member needs to pay $ 1059.26 for the items when the items was going on progressive leasing, just stating over and over again that we had to pay the $1059.26, when we were trying to tell the manger Justin that it was approved though progressive leasing, and he still didn't want to take that for our answer, so I went the hell off on him telling him, because everything had already had been approved and ready for us to pick the items up, so, I told him you all don't know what the hell you all are doing when it comes to progressive leasing. WE told him several times that it was on progressive leasing, he just didn't want us to have the items on progressive leasing he wanted us to pay that $1059.26, just beware black people on trying to get anything on progressive leasing when the manger JUSTIN is there. He is not a good manger and didn't want to hear a thing we had to say, nothing but for us to pay the money. I want to say that they think black people are ready and crazy, but we are not, you all just don't like when we talk back to you all. I will be contacting corporate office ono the manger Justin from BIG LOTS in Tyndall Parkway, because he thinks he could talk to me any kind of way and be rude and tell me that I can't be in...
Read moreNot a very pleasurable experience! My 12 year old daughter sat 3 small beauty items down in an empty cart on the way out the door, one of the employees named justin walked over to the cart to retrieve the items and calling my daughter a MF along with several other words inappropriate for ANY child to be called, my wife turned around to confront justin and an argument broke out with Justin trying to intimidate, bully and damn near assault my wife. A few seconds into rhis argument another employee named Joseph stepped in to defend his co worker so now there are 2 employees intimidating and escalating the situation, Joseph then proceeded to violate my wifes personal space and force her out the door. ( He did not lay a hand on her) Once he was able to force her out the door we proceeded to cross the parking lot to our vehicle, at which point Joseph comes outside and throws out a few more nasty words. Now by this time i had turned off my camera so i turned around and pulled out my phone, i asked Joseph now that ny camera is back on what did you just say to my wife, obviously he did not repeat it. These employees need some de-escalating training and most importantly how to treat women and children. I have reported this to corporate yesterday i should here something back by tomorrow, but i demand disciplinary action taken on these employees! Also reporting to the BBB as well, ☺️ feel these two guys are going to end up physically hurting a customer in the future especially if its a woman and a child!! i have video evidence if the entire...
Read moreThe guy that looks like Riff Raff or Justin the Manager ( so he said ) was absolutely the worst excuse for a manager I have ever met. He literally told me " we reserve the right to refuse service " as he gestured to the door. Justin refused to listen to the fact I had paid for furniture at the 23rd st store and was there to pick it up. I said I wanted to speak to a Store Manager ( he looked at his unreadable name tag and pointed ) I then had to call the other store to get help because not a single other employee was willing to help. While on the phone with the other store I was asked about Justin as he walked by to take a smoke break smugly giving his name. After I finally get the couch that had my name and a transfer tag on it, Justin wanted to stare and mean mug me from his little cover parking area as he was smoking. Justin feel fre to message me if you...
