Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Callaway

Today, I went to lunch with a friend/co-worker here. We ordered from a stall. We made sure to ask for salt and pepper when we ordered. The manager, Cassandra, brought our order out. When I asked for the salt and pepper she told us that they don’t give out pepper. Wierd, because i know that they do, but i thought, hey maybe they were out. Our orders were both wrong. We went through the drive thru to correct them. Cassandra over spoke us and was incredibly rude. She argued about whether the order was wrong, even though it clearly was. She kept saying that the order was lettuce tomato and onion only (which is what i ordered) even though it had mayo all over it. I tried to explain that I didn't want mayo and that I had ordered it without mayo. She began yelling at us. She closed the window on us when we tried to tell her that the other order was also wrong. The double sonic cheeseburger that my friend had ordered had been made with Texas toast. It took multiple times of explaining that our orders were wrong and how they should be, even though they had the receipt and could see how it would be, and wasted our short lunch break. When we finally got our orders corrected we asked the lady at the window for pepper and she gave it to us, proving that Cassandra was lying. She instigated an argument with us the entire time. Even the employees working with her seemed uncomfortable. Her behavior was extremely unprofessional. We come here often for lunch and NEVER will again as long as...

I only wish that I could give more than a 5 star review for their garlic butter bacon burger and cheesecake shake. I ordered my food from the app so all I have to do is pick my order up. When I first arrived I saw the line at the drive thru and I started to get a little upset but i digress because my mind went back to the thought of that burger. After getting to the window and they realized who I was they gave me my order and the lady at the window was so nice I wish I would have taken the time to get her name her service was great. But the whole thing about the trip was the burger I wanted to see if it was worth having? As I grabbed the burger from the bag I could smell the aroma of the garlic coming through the wrapper sparking my senses. Then I took my first bite and it was like taking an upper cut from Mike Tyson that's how much flavor that bite contained. That bite of delight that was more than right had me sounding like JJ from good times screaming Dy-no-mite. The butter gave the burger a flavorful juiciness the bacon gave it a smoky taste and the garlic kicked it all up to another level. As I was working my way through this burger taking jabs and upper cuts of delight I had to counter that with a sip from my shake and it hit me with a cross that I was not prepared for the combination of the two made me tap out . All in all everything was wonderful and I most definitely be back very soon...

I leave lots of restaurant reviews. I typically look for the good in my visit. This time, however, there was no good! We waited 30 mins + for our orders. Upon arrival, 1st, I noticed that we had fries instead of tots. No biggie. 2nd, they gave us the wrong burger 3rd and probably the worst, they gave us the wrong drink. Lesson to me, we order 2 ocean waters. We was served water that was blue somehow. I let the manager know, and she responded, "The cook is new, and he thought the ocean water was just water." At this point, I am trying to figure out what in the h××× we was served. How did he make this blue surprise water. This rating will stay a 1 star ("0" is not allowed) until I talk to someone higher up than the manager on site. We have been a loyal customer for years and have overlooked a lot, but waiting 30+ mins just to find out that ever item was made incorrectly and the drinks were just created w tap water and who knows what else. To say I'm disappointed and disgusted is an understatement. I'm still trying to figure out what the h@#$ we was served to drink!!!
