The fact that you respond in the way that you have responded tells the people a lot so maybe you should stop! I am entitled to freedom speech and I spoke the way I was treated if you don’t like it change things at your place of business! And if one review of mistreatment hurts you then something more is going on at that place. I guess you’re gonna take legal action against everybody who leaves you a bad review?….that’s bad business for real. You’ve been in business for that long and you’re threatening legal action for a bad review…WoW Wow WoW! 😳 I have come here lots time & the food and the service is always amazing… it use to be my Monday morning breakfast spot! ( not anymore tho). Today’s SERVICE & FOOD sucked! We came at the end of a rush which was totally understandable but to be ignored for almost an hour and watch 3 servers refill and tend to patrons around us was unacceptable! The manager I spoke to was loud and rude and kept asking me what was wrong with the food didn’t give me a chance explain anything just got louder and ruder I ask for the check I thought she would calm down but she got worse! Well Patty you wanted to know what was wrong with the food! THE EGGS WERE BURNT & THE SHRIMP & GRITS LOOKED LIKE SLOP. You need to learn how to treat your customers! All of them! I tried nicely to tell you what was wrong and you wouldn’t listen! because you didn’t care! If I could give this visit all zeros I would You didn’t check your cameras because I have been there on numerous occasions, I gave my account would happen and the fact that The owner said she didn’t have time to talk to me after she start yelling at me and I wanted a quieter conversation, but she insisted on being loud! So no, I didn’t want her to fix me another meal. I just wanted to go. I know Shrimp & Grits is one of your better sellers I’ve gotten it there many times before and it usually is really good, but this time wasn’t good! & neither was the service.I had on a hat and a hair wrap under that hat so no, you didn’t recognize me but yes, I have been in there many Mondays and some lunchtime visits too so just say you didn’t recognize me don’t say I’ve never been there! if you indeed watched the cameras which you didn’t you would’ve saw how we were ignored you would’ve saw how we were not approached for more drinks but everyone around us was, so there’s no slander. I’m sorry that you feel that it was. Christians have bad days too! we all do and that’s OK but that’s not an excuse to treat somebody the way we were treated! I reviewed you guys on one app and that’s it so I have no idea what you’re talking about but please do not take the time to respond with another one page response, trying to justify the way we were mistreated will not help the situation. Read moreUpdate: Increased from a three star to a four star rating. After eating in and having great service by Jordan and the others I feel it deserved an extra star. The food is about the same ordering to go as it is in the restaurant. Also a great plus is they give a military/veteran discount which is great.
Original post: I haven't dined in yet but my breakfast that was ordered to go was an acceptable breakfast. I would definitely try more food from this restaurant.
Since it was ordered to go I did expect it to not be its best so when the bacon wasn't crispy and the pancakes were a little soggy I don't blame the restaurant. The pancake batter I think was a little over mixed because they were a bit tough. I didn't like the skillet potatoes at all, they were just so bland. Of course the toast was a little soggy but there's no way to make toast travel and it will not be soggy.
The prices are very reasonable and I'd like to try them again dining in to see how much better...
Read moreToday I placed an order for a wonderful sounding breakfast and unfortunately the door dash driver delivered in horrible condition so I didn’t get to eat it. After lodging my complaint with DoorDash I thought I should call and give that feedback to the restaurant as well not in complaint but just so that they knew. I spoke first to Patty’s son who was very apologetic but appreciated the feedback. Then afterwards Patty herself called me offering to bring me a new breakfast. I assured her it was not necessary and the DoorDash had give me my money back but the thought that the restaurant owner took the time to reach out to me tells me so much about how much they care about their customers experience. I will be sure to introduce myself the next time I go in and I absolutely recommend this restaurant to everyone.
