At 9:30 pm on March 30th I went to Dairy Queen because online I had read that the 30th was "free cone day" at Dairy Queen. When I pulled in and parked three or four employees dramatically shielded their eyes as if I was blinding them. I turned them off quickly. I went up to the window and asked a male employee if it was free cone day. He said he didn't know anything about it and asked another male employee when free cone day was. That employee told the employee at the window "it was a long time ago, man" as they were both not being subtle about stifling their laughter. I said "okay, thanks." and walked away. Before I even left the window a female employee screams "oh my god!" and they are all laughing at me super loud. I don't know what I did to deserve that, but it really made me feel bad and their behavior was terrible for employees of a business. I was all excited to enjoy DQ this summer but I will not be enjoying it in...
Read moreIt's very expensive, they don't have fries or anything, only hotdogs. It's seasonal so they they're closed for half the year, and close early sometimes when they should be open. Then if you get a hot dog combo they try to compensate with a personal sized bag of chips which I'm sure they overcharge for. The ice cream is DQ ice cream, but the prices are outrageous. You're better off making your own treats at home. They charged us like $15 for a rootbeer float and a hot dog which should be criminal. The rootbeer floats barely had any rootbeer and it came with a dome lid on it yet they didn't even bother to get the soda anywhere near the rim at least instead giving very little of the cheapest part of it. Their rootbeer isn't very good, but still I paid for a rootbeer float, not a ice cream log that takes up 1/5th of the large cup and a puddle of rootbeer...
