Went through drive thru tonight, I was the only car in line. The parking lot is empty, and I waited almost 15 mins for anyone to even come to the window, so I could pay for my order. I was never asked what size I wanted, I had to ask her, which is fine. But then she walked around, back and forth, presumably filling other orders, but I saw no one in the restaurant. I continued to wait another 10 minutes. ( I can also clearly see a bottle of Fabulouso cleaner next to a bottle of Clorox and a mop bucket behind the counter next to one of the registers. I really hope they are not using both cleaners, you can’t mix ammonia and bleach, it’s not safe to even breathe) After being handed my food I was told to have a good night and she left to fill other orders? I waited for a couple minutes for her to even notice that I hadn’t left, I needed ketchup and my receipt. (It is Hardee’s known and posted policy that if you do not receive your receipt with your order your order will be refunded. To ensure that employees aren’t over charging customers, and for order accuracy.) After asking for my receipt I remind her that I would be owed a refund, and she looks confused and annoyed. (Understandably, but I have still not received my receipt.) She walks in the back, and returns to tell me that since I never left the property she isn’t going to give me a refund. I then pull around (leaving the property) to return inside to obtain my receipt, another employee, Myranda walks around from the back. She explains to me again that since I waited for my receipt, I can’t be refunded. I explain that I have still not be offered a receipt. Myranda explains that the cashier intended to tape my receipt to my bag, (pointing to the tape on my receipt) I try to stay calm even though this woman was getting an attitude with me. I ask if I can have my receipt. She hands it to me, but said that “you’re still not getting a refund from me, I called my manager and she said that since you never left, it don’t count” I was told to call the 877 number on that wall if I wanted to complain. Little did we know, that this is no longer fast food! With the emphasis on fast. Arriving before lunch time, it took us about 12 minutes to get our food once we got up to the pickup window.
they're definitely was not a rush of people inside, and they were only two cars in front of us which took also longer than you would expect for the size of the orders we saw going into those cars.
now, one benefit to the speed of the order was that the food was piping hot and fresh when it came out to us. The fries were actually very good, well salted and cooked. We got a kids chicken tender meal, and an adult five piece chicken tender. Both seemed freshly cooked, a plus!! On the downside, both persons eating describes them as chewy. We also got a classic cheeseburger meal, which I can say was thoroughly cooked! No food boring illness is here, from under cooking. Although it was well-charged, the meat wasn't as tough as you would have expected. The cheese on top was definitely processed, but the bun was magnificent!
All in all I can't give this particular location a very high rating, and I'm not sure will ever visit a Hardee's again, but maybe someday we will and will have a...
Read moreI had the most pleasant experience I've experienced in fast food in years, since the pandemic, Davonta a young gentleman who was working drive thru in Cambridge Maryland 21613, on March 27, 2023 at 3:30 p.m was so pleasant, so nice, and so kind, I just loved his attitude, he is definitely a people person. His attitude is over the charts. It is so refreshing to finally be treated with respect and be greeted with a great attitude when you are patronizing someone business. I was really surprised just how pleasant he was. That has to be his up bringing, he has wonderful parents and grandparents I can only assume, to be so pleasant and to know how to treat people, mainly your customers, we had stopped coming Hardee's, cause of bad attitudes, I'm glad we tried today again, I had to call Mrs. Beverly Greaves, the general manager and thank her for hiring this young gentleman, the food was so hot and delicious, thanks Davonts so very much, we are returning customers again, way to go Beverly awesome...
