Edit for the owner's response:
Thank you for explaining to me that you are not a school, as well as your backstory. Regardless of this, it does not change the fact that you should not be willingly sharing nutritional information if you do not verify it is entirely correct. This is simply irresponsible, to say the least. In addition, you are the ones who choose to instruct your love agents how to respond. They could easily have stated, in the very least, that my concerns were passed on to upper management. Again, this carelessness and indifference surely will have an effect on your business. Just something to keep in mind.
I want to clarify from the start that this review is solely based on my experiences with the live chat agent(s), as well as the website itself.
The indifference and near callousness of the live agent(s) was quite surprising, considering they are a school who is very eager to find new students (I'll touch on this later). I say agent(s) because i believe there was only one by the way they spoke (who also stated they were a real person), but I cannot be entirely sure). I started the live chat by stating that their nutrition information and math on their dumplings could not be correct, as they stated one steamed dumpling was 4.1 grams of carbs (take. From liveostrong.com as I later found out), yet somehow said two dumplings would be 12-22 grams of carbs. It doesn't take a mathematician to see this is quite off. Considering there are many with health concerns who may use this highly incorrect information, I decided to let them know of their mistake.
Upon speaking to a live agent and explaining the issue, I was simply given a response of "I apologize", and they asked if they could do anything else. I advised them to make a change for obvious reasons, and they almost instantaneously exited the chat.
I joined a second chat in hopes this would be forwarded to the writer of the article, or website devs but alas to no avail. Upon reaching them a third time to see what kind of intentions this school really had, they were again extremely indifferent, with their sole and only focus being to get my contact information. Nothing else was even remotely important to them.
For someone who is interested in their school, I highly suggest their actions and false information (and lack thereof to even admit it needs to be changed or forwarded to someone) be taken into careful consideration. I only hope this ignorance and lack of empathy is not passed on to...
Read moreThe dumpling making class was fun and delicious! I especially appreciated that the class was not cancelled even though a few other people ended up not attending. Marc could have easily cancelled the class. I have signed up for events in the past only to find out that there was a minimum size that was not shared, so when I arrived, it was cancelled because of low attendance. Marc was a great teacher and had so many stories that made the class a great experience. It would be great for a team experience, as well as fun for a group of friends. All of the details, like rolling pins, were well thought out. It was a...
Read moreIt's a worth-of-visiting spot! They offer a lot of different types of dumplings, from pan-fried to boiled, from seafood to vegetarian. If you are not a fan of traditional dumplings, they also have some creative flavors, like kimchi. I tried kimchi goyte, xiao long bao, crab ragoon, and curry bowl. (not at once, of course! haha) Curry bowl is my top favorite, not only that you can have everything in one bowl (there were 4 dumplings, bok choy, bean sprout, an egg, and the curry) but also the curry tastes like the one that I had in my hometown! I'm so happy that now I know what I can do to cure my...
