Wally's Pizza — Restaurant in Cambridge

I always ask a new pizza place in my area what is different about your pizza that will separate you from everybody else. Wally's is a Cambridge staple that has been there for many of years. my wife brought me to this establishment when we first started seeing each other as a dinner option one night. I've had this type of Pizza in my home time before and was very good.the pizzas there is very unique the crust is nice and crunchy sauces is tasty in a toppings are great but what separates Wally's Pizza from everybody else is that they add a layer of toppings after it is cooked.that might sound a key to some people but one of my friends just recently found out that it was one of the best pieces of pizza that he is ever had and now is a firm believer of Wally's Pizza and will visit them when they drive through the City. My husband is a huge fan of another pizza place that originated in Stuebenville. He is super picky about his pizza. I found Wally's in Yelp while he was based in Cambridge for his job. We live in the Mt Perry area west of Zanesville so I drove out to visit him and we gave Wally's a try. We were not disappointed!! Excellent service and the pizza was everything we hoped for. We will be back even if it involves a road trip from home. Fresh ingredients, clean environment and two small tables and Flat Screen inside. Plenty of seating Outdoors. Not only would we recommend Wally's, we already did, to hubby's other crew members that are staying here. Only complaint I can think of is they serve Pepsi products so no Coke. If any of you are familiar with the concept of DiCarlos Pizza, this is a similar style of pizza. Wally's comes in square slices, sold by the slice. They start by cooking the crust and sauce, and then putting the cheese and toppings on after it's cooked, letting the steam slowly warm them. I will say, it's probably not for everyone, but I love this pizza so much!

It's a thin style, chewy crust, a sweet sauce and a generous amount of cheese. You can order by the slice, order a 1/2 tray which is about 16 slices or a full tray.

I may be a little partial because I grew up on this pizza and now I live out of state, but I always drop by when i'm in the area, and sometimes make a special trip there just for their pizza!...
