McDonald's — Restaurant in Camden

Maybe like you, I travel by car a lot and have lots of experience with many, many McDonald's restaurants. Without a doubt, the Camden store is the one that provides the ABSOLUTE POOREST customer experience of any I've ever been to. I've ranted and complained before about an acutely bad experience to the management of this location ("McWorth" or "McWorthy" is the name of the Franchisee business. They are out of Paris, TN, and presumably, own many McDonald's stores.) and they advised they'd look into it, but it seems that nothing has changed over the years since that advice.

This morning, with at least 7 people waiting patiently in line, the 5 or 6 people behind the counter, not the cooks, were busy doing something other than opening more than one lane to take more than one order at a time. Had enough of waiting, while the manager and other front-line staff kept looking our collective way but ignoring the growing line, I shouted out to the "manager" and asked how long he's going to continue to ignore the waiting customer. Then he decided to open another register.

If there were other choices in this very small town, I'd not even waste my time, but McWorth has had plenty of opportunity to make sure the community that keeps them in business is catered to as though they actually care about the customers. However, from personal experience, I doubt very much that McWorth is worth much more than lip service as they certainly don't appear to care about the...

A Tale of Two Experiences: Fast Service and Exceptional Honesty at McDonald's

Our experience at this McDonald's on Friday, March 28th, 2025, was initially fantastic. The service was incredibly fast; our meals arrived within minutes. The staff member who served us, was also exceptionally kind and friendly, making our visit truly enjoyable. My husband and I even commented that it was the best McDonald's experience we'd ever had.

However, the real test of character came later. After driving three hours home, I realized I had left my backpack behind, containing all my bank cards and other essential documents. Panicked, we called the McDonald's, and to our immense relief, they had found it! They confirmed they had secured it in a safe place and assured us we could pick it up anytime until 11 pm, or they would wait for us if we called ahead.

What truly impressed us was that they hadn't opened my backpack or tampered with its contents in any way. This level of honesty and integrity is rare and deeply appreciated.

While the fast service and friendly staff were a great start, it was their honesty and willingness to safeguard my belongings that truly made this McDonald's stand out. Thank you to the staff for your excellent service and, most importantly, for your trustworthiness. You are awesome! Every time I come through the drive thru, I am always made to pull up to next closest door from the drive thru. I'm sitting waiting for my order, Three cars have done come thru and got their orders who were behind me.. I literally ordered the simplest things and another worker comes up to my window asking if I could pull up again and I told her I was waiting for my order I was asked to move here, mind you three people have already come around me and then the worker said people behind you are wanting to leave I tell the worker that I wanted a refund so she proceed to go in and tell her just give me the food I have patiently waited for and she said what is your pull up and I asked what did that mean and she said what spot are you talking about and the girl who told me to pull up comes around and said I was bringing her the order and she pulled off.. I pulled off because I had to move twice. So for one second if you think you are going to get any satisfaction from this you have some learning to do.. not only am I allergic to dairy I asked for no cheese and that was the only thing that was on the burger was cheese and meat.. I will never visit this location again.. as far as the rest of the restaurants go they all will not receive any of my hard...
