I had an order that was scheduled to be delivered @11PM EST last night April 30, 2022 It was after 11 PM and according to the order tracker my pizza was still in the oven. I noticed the last 4 digits of my phone number was off by a couple digits I called the restaurant to tell them I mistyped my phone number and wanted to give them the last 4 digits of my phone number to make it correct for my order. However when someone finally answered it was "Sorry We're Closed" I told them I still had an order in progress and that person started YELLING AT ME FOR NO REASON. Let me remind you I am no racist whatsoever but I am white but again I am not racist. The person that answered (assuming it was a manager) was black I could tell by the voice started yelling at me for no reason I said DON'T BE YELLING AT ME DUDE YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW ME AND HE GOT LOUDER AND LOUDER I SAID I ONLY CALLED TO CORRECT MY PHONE NUMBER and he said the reason why we couldn't get a hold of you is because you wouldn't answer your phone. I said dude if you would just listen I am trying to tell you I misstyped my phone number when I placed my order online. He kept saying the number I see on screen is the number we tried calling and you wouldn't answer your phone.    Read moreThe food is how you imagine any Pizza Hut. The staff? They are meh. If you call to make an order, you will be lucky if the phone doesn't conviently disconnect. We had asked what the specials are. After we were told, I said, "That is great! We will go ahead and do that!" I then proceeded to order. When I was told my total, I thought it was weird. It was twice as much as it should have been. I assumed it must come off when I go in to pay. My husband goes to get the food, and they tell him, "You have to ask for the special." He insisted that we did. So, the girl tells us she has to go get the manager to change it. OK, fine. The manager (who was out back smoking) claimed the system was down. Basically, sorry about our luck. The first time this happened, shame on me for not questioning it. The last time? Shame on management! Not only have you not properly trained your staff to take accurate orders, but you downright refused to make it right. I travel 25 minutes to get pizza (ANY pizza bc of where I live). Mind u I know ppl make mistakes, so I called them and explained I can't come get another she said to hold to talk to the manager. I waited 22 min and no pick up so called again for a refund ( now annoyed) was told will "see of there is a manager." Anyway a lady by the name of Lisa picked up and said to call back bcz all the card machines are busy. If I got something wrong I go out of my way to fix it. But was told to just call back later. So asked if there is a complaint # that I could call? "Was told by her if u make a complaint than ur not getting ur money back" I told her I will be making a complaint bcz that is not right . She said ok and hung up. . So will never be going back to that pizza hut and did make a complaint against the manager and will be getting a refund. There is a place on the app where u can contact the company. Dont let them just bully u. I hope they teach their managers how to be a manager. The customer service is down the drain...
