Been waiting to come here since I heard it was opening! And though they did disappoint in the fact that I couldn’t get pancakes for lunch (breakfast stops at 11 and we just missed it), they did not disappoint in any other regard! We came here for a celebratory brunch (on a Friday) and really enjoyed everything. I am picky about my avocado toast and really only ever eat my own but there was very good! The dolmas were delicious, too! My partner got the BLT with pimento cheese and that was delightful. I will certainly be back for more falafel—theirs is delicious and love the sauce! Also choosey about my lemonade and the Loopy Lemon came in for the win on that one, too! The atmosphere is nice. Parking is easy to find. And, the service was good as well. Will be back for those dang pancakes!

Was looking for a good local spot for lunch on our way through town and The Loopy Lemon did not disappoint. We had egg drop soup as an appetizer - it hit the spot. Then we shared the veggie quesadilla with brussels as the side and the turkey, brie, and peach sandwich on sourdough with apple slaw as the side. Both entrees were on point. Veggies quesadilla was loaded with veg and good cheese. And the turkey sandwich was toasty, hot, and yummy! If I am being hyper critical on the does, I would say the apple slaw salad could use a little less dressing and the brussels need a little more crispy - but both were still good. Would definitely eat here again if I find myself in that neck of the woods.

Let me start off by saying this place is the diamond in the rough. Camden SC has a lot of charm and great restaurants but this one seems to be the king of the hill at the moment. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was amazing. Had a greek gyro and some pablono cheese grits with bacon and eggs in it, they were both to die for. After that we grabbed three random deserts, a Lemmon cake, parfait, and chocolate tuxedo cake. All this for about $30. Everything from the decor to the food was good. Great little place to eat; solid 5 star spot in my books, one that we will be visiting often to add new images.

This restaurant needs some massive retraining in my opinion. First impression was the table we sat at still seemed to be dirty despite us being the first customers at that table for the day. Also, the cooks didn't make food as advertised and the first waitress we had didn't know the menu, didn't tell us any specials, and didn't even say hello (possibly not her fault due to what seemed like a huge lack of training). We were the first to sit down after opening and the third to get our food. They were already out of all flatbreads and salad greens. The local coffee we ordered appears on the menu as if it is drip coffee so we ordered that. Only to be told it was an Americano and they didn't have drip coffee. It tasted like water, it was very weak. I had also asked if they had any non-dairy milks and the same waitress said "um ya I don't think so". Come to find out they did when I asked another waitress who randomly took over our table. The avocado toast was not toast. It was basically a one sided sandwich, not toasted, and with unseasoned avocado and tomato (I asked for no meat or egg). When I asked the second waitress if it was supposed to be toasted she say "oh yes it is, let me go get that fixed for you". When she brought it back, it was hardly warm with no crispyness added. I will note that they took mine off the check althought my husband ordered the same thing and it was not toasted. We also ordered my toddler a grilled cheese and it was just toast with cheese in the middle it was not grilled at all. The rosemary potatoes were okay but there was way too much oil and there was random basil in there which was odd. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant at all until they have a massive overhaul. The two other tables around us within earshot also complained...

We stumbled into The Loopy Lemon Café while in Camden and were immediately charmed. The vibe is delightfully eclectic—think boho-chic décor, cozy yet vibrant, and just enough quirkiness to feel fun while still calm and inviting .

But what really elevated our experience was our server, Taylor. She was amazing—friendly, attentive, and effortlessly smooth in guiding us through the menu (morning or noon, their Mediterranean-fusion offerings are full of surprises). Her recommendations were on point, and she made us feel looked-after without ever hovering.

The food itself was fresh and flavorful, with standout touches in both fusion and local flavors—just like others have noted, from the apple slaw to pesto specials and daily lunch offerings .

All told, The Loopy Lemon Café pairs a cozy, artistic atmosphere with genuinely warm service and inventive, tasty food. If you’re in Historic Camden, this place is a treat—and Taylor will make it even...

We have eaten there many times, though to be fair,m we had not been in since Sam sold the restaurant. But since you were open for dinner again we decided to go back. Huge mistake. The server had no idea what wine I ordered until I showed it to her on the menu; not bad, but you'd think the server would know the wines on a limited menu. I ordered the "grilled chicken" salad with "slivered almonds," "cranberries," and "feta cheese." What I received was shredded chicken salad mixed with mayonnaise, I think, and not a single almond, cranberry of piece of feta. The roasted brussel sprouts seemed to have been steamed a long time and the charred on the outside; very mushy. Very disappointing. I was hoping for more.

I would have been happy to speak to a manager but I didn't see one; I only saw the two servers and someone sitting at the counter the entire time we were there. A note: when a guest says the food was "okay" you might want to follow...
