If you would have asked me weeks ago, this place would have been at the top of my list. I have spent hundreds of dollars here on multiple ladies nights- we have a pretty large group that comes monthly. I also previously hosted a bachelorette party for my best friend in their private dining area. I have been a loyal customer since day 1- so excited to see somewhere like this open locally. My mother came in town last week and we decided to go to Broad and Vine for dinner and on this particular night they were hosting a wine tasting event. They seated us as normal and asked if we would be ordering from their normal dining menu, we said yes and ordered our food around 5:30. We both ordered two separate boards as our entrees (we both like different things and had quite the appetite). At 6:50 I got our servers attention and asked her if our food would be much longer because it had been a while and we were hungry. She had to confirm what we had ordered and headed to the back before returning and letting us know that one of our boards was almost ready, but if we still wanted the other one we would have to wait until after 8 PM! I couldn't believe what she was telling me, and I asked if I could speak to a manager. He popped around the corner with a smile and a quick, "So unfortunately, she is correct- we can't fulfill any more orders this evening but instead of charging you for a pick 5 board we will charge you for a pick 3". He then sat down a board that wasn't even what was originally ordered and went on his way. We had to share the one entree between the two of us (even though my mother doesn't eat goat cheese, and the meats weren't even what were ordered). When you dine at a restaurant and order two separate entrees, it is unacceptable for them to tell you over an hour after ordering that not only can they not fulfill your order, but you will have to split an entree. One of the main reasons I love dining there is for their dessert, and when I asked the waitress if I could even order a cheesecake to go she said "ummm probably not". After expressing my frustrations, she brought out a cheesecake while everyone avoided eye contact with our table for the remainder of our time. I have worked in the restaurant industry for many years, and I am the first person to understand that things happen, and usually the last person to complain (especially after the first bad experience at a restaurant). This experience was enough to never make me want to return. I understand event nights can be busy, but if you are unable to accommodate your guests, that should be told at the beginning of a meal. Shut the place down to diners outside of your event next time. My mother and I don't get to dine out together a lot, and we would have understandingly went elsewhere if we were told ahead of time. When we checked out at the front, the manager didn't acknowledge even once the inconvenience or apologize for our experience. Customer service goes a long way, and this establishment needs training for their employees. This situation couldn't have been...

Read moreGreat atmosphere and an interesting concept to wine tasting. Dinner entrees are small for the price, and a cup of coffee is only 1/2 cup and they can't/won't make it a full cup. We had a great time and enjoyed girl's night out until it came time for me to pay my tab. Very pricey! I was shocked at how expensive it was! I had 3 glasses of wine and a handful of sips of different wines, plus a pasta meal and a cup of coffee. That 1/2 cup of coffee was $5. My bill was over $100, just for me. Yikes! Everyone at our table had bills over $100. We were all very shocked. While I enjoyed the experience, it's not a place I will frequent. Too...
