I rarely post a review, but something has definitely changed in the past few months at this location. We used to go there once a week. The food is always great! We love it. However, the past 3 visits have been very disappointing.
The first visit had several new teenagers there working. That's great for them! However, there did not seem to be an adult anywhere around. Maybe they were in the back? Anyways, one of the new workers stayed behind the counter and seemed to be working hard the whole time. The others were running around the place on their phones, calling family and friends and more. One of the workers had a bunch of her family there (maybe celebrating her new job! đ„ł), but was talking so loudly that everyone in the restaurant now knows all the medical testing she just had done recently at Mercy. It just seemed a bit like a highschool cafeteria.
The second visit was brief. I was just going in to use the restroom and get a drink. I walked in the door, and 3 employees were huddled together looking at a phone. They looked up and just kind of stared as I walked in. No hello or welcome, and no moving out of the way for customers to get through with ease. I used the restroom and left, because I was frustrated again that it seemed like a cafeteria and hangout instead of a place of employment. Whether it's a starting out job or a lifelong career, there needs to be a sense of professionalism and pride.
The final, and probably last visit for quite a while, was tonight. I just wanted to go through the drive through. This way I wouldn't be overly harsh and nothing could go wrong...but it was 8:30 PM and I sat in the drive through for 10 minutes behind 2 other vehicles. One eventually moved, but no one took the next person's order. While that was happening, I watched a young woman try to go inside and the doors were locked. I understand this if it's closing for the night, but the hours online show it's open until 10:00. If that's the case, why can people not go inside, and why was no one taking orders in the drive through? There were cars wrapped around the building. I eventually got out of the line of waiting people and left.
I don't mean to be negative, but there seems to be some issues right now. I hope it gets sorted out soon, because I really enjoyed having an affordable weekly treat there and would definitely start going back if...

Read moreWe came through the drive thru and the man taking our order asked us what we wanted and then cut us off when we were ordering and told us to wait. When we finally got to the window he read our order back correctly and then when he gave us the food it wasnât correct and we told him what we were supposed to have. He proceeded to read it back to us from the screen and what he was reading was completely different from what he read to us in the beginning. He tried to tell us that is what we ordered and we had to take it. Someone else walked over and fixed it for us. We could hear him complaining through the window and it was just a very unpleasant experience. And he also forgot to give us our drink and we realized it too late and didnât want to have to turn around and wait in line for...
