Ginno's Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Cameron

Only choice in Cameron (that I know of) for Italian food, but a very good one. Down side is, the restaurant is small, I estimate 12 tables available, can be busy at 12/6, they do not take reservations. Plus side the food is great. Great reports from my party on chicken parm, shrimp scampi, & chicken fettuccine, I had the Caesar salad & felt it was just average, as it was a bit watery, as it seems after washing lettuce that it did not have time to dry. Also no schredded parmesan on the salad, no fresh black pepper. But I have eaten here several times & I am pleased with entree's. The philly cheese steak pizza, I have been told, is excellent. I don't ever take time to comment on things,, but for Ginnos i am willing to take the time. In Cameron there is an ok pizza hut, and an acceptable dominos in Cameron, BUT I am completely ticked off at my friends who, during my 4 years living here, never mentioned Ginno's. Go there. It is absolutely wonderful. Pizzawise I go every couple weeks and get a large meat lover's pizza. Tastes 5 times better than pizza hut (and I worked there and ate free years ago) and about 20 times better than dominoes. Has to be buffalo mozzarella. Sunday night in Cameron darn near everything is closed except fast food and Mexican restaurants. We got on google and found Ginno’s, what a pleasant surprise! We wanted a beer with dinner but they don’t serve beer BUT you can bring it in and enjoy, ok enough about beer, let’s get down to the food. We both ordered the chicken parmigiana with Caesar salad... WOW was I pleased when the waitress brought our meals( we had to wait a bit because it’s cooked fresh to order). The portions were generous and tasted amazing for this little hole in the wall, and the price was 9.95 I mean how can you go wrong!
