This place is located just on the edge of the main downtown strip. Dine-in or take-out. They typically estimate fifteen minutes for take-out to be ready for pick-up and this is generally accurate.Their food is really good - hence the four stars. I highly recommend them for take-out.
While the food is totally worth it, I do have to note that their service is bad and I don't recommend eating in. We've eaten in here twice. Sloppy, inattentive service. After being seated, we had to wait a long time for someone to come take our order. The same guy (possibly the owner) took our order on both occasions and did it purely by memory rather than writing down what we wanted. On the more recent visit (yesterday), this resulted in his nearly forgetting our wonton soup and a Coke, as well as our table receiving chow mein instead of chow fun. The woman who brought the chow mein just about threw it onto the table, announcing "Chow mein!", and then hustled away without breaking stride or giving any of us a chance to point out that this wasn't what we'd ordered. No one checked in on us during our meal. One of my friends caught the guy's attention from across the room to have the chow mein swapped out. Both the chow mein and chow fun wound up on our bill and I got up and took it to the counter for correction, unsure of how long we'd need to wait for someone to come back. This saw an incredibly rare instance of me tipping under twenty percent. I have also had an instance of complete failure to answer the phone for over a half-hour (resulting in our ordering pizza, instead) and one instance of being told that our take-out would be ready in a mere ten minutes, then arriving and standing for at least fifteen with an assortment of other folk there to pick up.
The restaurant, itself, is okay. The restroom could do with a deep clean and a bit more decor (tile floor and walls make it feel rather like standing in a giant shower), but was within acceptable limits. They have their own parking lot and are easy to spot from the road.
In short: great food,...
Read moreFirst time visit and the food was phenomenal. This establishment has been in this location serving good food for many years. They have this lamb with mango dish that's off the hook delicious. Tangerine beef was yummy. Hong Kong style Chow Mein had noodles bought crunchy and soft as how it should be. Broccoli Beef was done properly where most restaurants utterly fail the recipe. We started our meal with Wor Wonton soup which came with lots of wonton. We ordered 8 dishes additionally. Honey Walnut prawns was the best according to my daughter who has tasted many and rated theirs thumbs up, utterly good. Mandarin sparerib was both sweet and tangy. It was eaten so fast I almost did not get a piece. Snow Peas with vegetables did not disappoint. I found the rice a bit dry but there was plenty of sauce from the dishes to make you forget. The staff was nice. Ordering was quick. Food delivery was even quicker. They must have lots of cooks back there whipping up these classic and yummy dishes because the food came in the blink of an eye. Staff was just delivering our oolong tea when soup arrived first. Shortly after our table was overwhelmed with dishes that stimulated our senses with delight. We ate so much that we experienced food coma causing us to lean back, and look up at the blue sky. Ah, is that why it's called "Blue Sky Chinese...

We had the Mangolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, Shrimp Chow Mein & Sea Food mix platter.
I think the Mangolian Beef was the best out of the 4 entrees that we had, my buddy & I both agreed on that!!!.
I MUST say this, UNFORTUNATELY that restaurant doesn't exist anymore, not sure if they lost the lease or whatever happened, but I'm Mt. View 30 years ago there was a restaurant named Sechuan Garden right on the strip on the right close to the railroad tracks if you were to go there from Santa Clara.
They were soooooooo busy that you had to wait 30 - 45 Min. to get seated & OMG, they had the MOST DELICIOUS Kung Pao Chicken EVERRRRRR!!! I'd kill to have it again.
The Chef/Owner cooked it like ABSOLUTE NO OTHER Chef EVER COULD, in fact we would ask the Manager, Jennifer, if he was the cook that day or we'd eat something else. Jennifer would get upset that we'd ask for him, (she was honestly the best manager I've seen at work) but we just had to know & if he was, we'd order like 3 entrees each 😂😂😂
I wish to God I could find the owner & ask him to teach me how to cook it his way. I miss that Kung Pao Chicken soooooo much.
If I'm EVER in a situation to be offered my last meal, I'll ask my executioner to locate that Chef to cook me his Kung...
