Art Beat Studio — Attraction in Campbell

We went for a family painting session. Overall, a very pleasant experience thanks to friendly staff. A few wrinkles, though - First, there is no dedicated parking for the studio, so you need to park on street, but one block down the street, "residential only" parking begins. Also, specifically for our session, I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with the technical skills of the instructor who was painting the demonstration piece. Finally, I have attended similar sessions elsewhere, and in comparison, I found folks here to be a bit stingy on the paint. Summer Camp started out well organized with good communication and excellent activities, but diminished by middle of summer.. Changed my review from a 5 to a 3 because as Summer went on the quality diminished in the summer camps. The staff later in the summer was unenthusiastic and communicated poorly with parents. Never received my child's artwork from his later camp, he was highly disappointed. Why do we pay an extra material fee if you're just going to keep my kids artwork? The parking situation is also very dangerous and pick up and drop off are very dangerous because there is no parking lot and people constantly park illegally on Campbell avenue as well as on the side street. Very expensive camp. Basically $500 for one week (3 hours a day) when you factor in the cost of materials. I was OK paying this because my kids love it but this week I didn't give them a snack when I dropped them off. it was not mentioned anywhere to bring a snack -- in all of the emails I received. Then, when my kids got there they were told they could buy a pack of gummies for $2 if they didn't have a snack. Are you kidding me?? Of course my kids do not have any money with them and this camp cant' be bothered to spend .50 cents (if that!) on a snack for kids who forgot?? Will not be...
