Magic Wok — Restaurant in Campbellsville

Very good food and a wonderful waitress who was one of the best I ever dealt with. BUT when I went to check out I was paying for a large party of family I was finishing my drink and some of my family members got up and was going outside to wait for me so we would not crowd up the lobby when the lady behind the register insinuated that we were leaving without paying. Well when I got to the register I ask her if there was a problem and she didn’t hardly know how to respond. I have never in my entire life ever walked out on a bill and that was insulting to me. My mother and my daughter and myself went to the Magic Wok today for lunch. The staff was rude and judgmental and just overall not friendly. My mother went to get her some desert and while doing that the waitress comes over knowing and takes my moms silverware. Then while my mother is eating her desert the waitress comes over, pushes all of our cups aside and takes our plates while we were still eating! We hadn’t been there but maybe 30-45 minutes and honestly couldn’t enjoy our meal or time together because of this waitress. She brought the check and tapped on it as if I didn’t see it and acted like it was our time to leave.

We eat here a lot, probably more then I should. The waitresses though hard to understand are great, they always give me the same table and know what I am after. I do wish they had more and the place was a bit bigger but they make due with what they have,. The reviews talking about roaches, those people are probably the ones never happy. I eat her at least once a week and I've never seen a bug anywhere. Could it be cleaner? Certainly, but so could a lot of places. I give this just over a subpar review because they got something here, if it was larger, a bit cleaner, they took down the tip begging signs and expanded their lineup I think they'd be even better.
