Fultano's Pizza — Restaurant in Canby

It reminded me of an old bar from the 80s where people come to share their problems before Facebook. The curtains were saturated in grease and dust. The table legs and chairs were sparkling with the sticky residue of soda. Everything was so dark and seemed to have a hazy film, left over from a time before the Clean Air Act when people were allowed to smoke inside.

But appearances aren't everything so we were hoping the their food would be awesome.

I got the all-you-can-eat salad bar. I asked one of the workers where I get the plates. She seemed a little annoyed like I should have known. It was my first time there and maybe she was just having a bad day, or really hated her job, or boss. Apparently, I had to ask her for the plates, since they kept them behind the counter. When I went back for a second plate, she seemed even more bothered. Hey, I ordered all-you-can-eat and I'm a hungry 125lb woman so let me eat all the salad I want. meow The salad bar looked like it had been sitting out for a few days. Everything was browning and getting dry.

The boys got pizza and bread sticks. My son, who loves pizza, only ate one slice. My husband wasn't a fan of the chard underside, burnt edges, sloppy preparation, and crust that was stretched too thin to be a regular and too think to be a thin crust which makes me think they were going cheep and jipping on the dough.

I usually love bread sticks, but was unimpressed by the flavor of Fultanos bread sticks. They were full of too much air, but at least they weren't burnt. The dipping sauce was like tomato sauce without spice and so watered down that it didn't stick to the bread stick.

All this for the high price of over $30. Wasted money here. My husband says at least we know now so we are passing on this information so you don't waste your money...

I grew up in clatskanie the original Fultanos and know toby and his parents. I now live in wilsonville and was excited when I discovered a fultanos somewhat close. Came in a few times when the I think owner was here and was really good and was super happy. So I had some friends over and I said you guys have to have this pizza it’s the best. Website said open till 8pm so we got here before 8 and closed. Super bummed. So we come back tonight 8/18/23 and the website says 9pm close. So we call at 745 and the person that answers says oh we are closing at 815 it’s slow and was super rude to my wife. When we asked questions the guy said is that it! And said it very rude! So we get here at 8 and I’m assuming this guy is the manager on duty and he is a complete a$$hole and turning people away because he says it isn’t busy enough. Well we got our pizza ordered in time but it’s kinda weird that a fair going on a cross the street and the phone blowing up and people walking in to order and this guy is running people off because he wants to close early. Not my business but if I owned this place that guy would be fired and I would want to take care of customers with website and sign saying open till 9! At this point it’s embarrassing this place has fultanos on it because that service is not what the name was built on! Probably won’t be back! And to add the dude turned the soda machine off on us! FULTANOS PIZZA IS HANDS-DOWN, THE VERY BEST PIZZA-JOINT THAT I HAVE EVER EATEN OUT AT IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!! I'VE BEEN EATING THEIR PIZZA FOR OVER 25 YEARS NOW, AND EVEN THOUGH I MOVED AWAY FROM CANBY (Fultanos was literally the ONLY THING I missed about Canby, true-story!!!) I STILL MANAGE TO GO BACK THERE FROM TIME-TIME JUST TO ORDER A PIZZA FROM FULTANOS, SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE BEST DAMNED PIZZA IN THE ENTIRE-WORLD!!!!!!! If you haven't been there yet, YOU ARE MISSING OUT BIG TIME, AND TO GET YOU BUTT DOWN THERE AND TRY THEM OUT, I 110% HIGHLY-RECOMMEND FULTANOS-PIZZA!!!!!! I JUST WISH THERE WERE MORE FULTANOS IN THE AREA, SUCH AS IN OREGON CITY, CLACKAMAS, SE PORTLAND AREA, BECAUSE IF THEY WERE, I WOULD GO ABD EAT THERE PROBABLY 3-4 TIMES EVERY SINGLE WEEK IF THEY HAD A LOCATION CLOSER TO ME!!!!!!
