Poke Poke - Sushi Unrolled — Restaurant in Canton Township

Today, 9/2/25 was our (husband and I) first time patronizing the restaurant. VERY CLEAN. Food was very fresh. First off, we have to a strong applause to Zara that was working tonight! This young lady is awesome! A wonderful personality, great customer service skills, she spoke very highly of the food and had a positive contagious spirit. Great job from two people in management! The food was fresh and everything was delicious, huge servings (we'll have the rest for lunch tomorrow. Great job! Now I have add our negative observation, THE MANGER. Her attitude was the OPPOSITE. Negative energy, rude, appeared irritated. Rude towards us and very rude towards her coworker. Zara was making our and we were discussing opinions when the manager abruptly interrupted "use Saran wrap!" and just continued to have a rude behavior. Zara stayed personal and pleasant. First time trying poke after being told how good it is from my wife and son. I must admit I was hesitant about it to be sure. Let me tell you, it's good. If you like sushi and bold flavors, you're in for a treat.

Right off the bat, the place is clean and well lit. You can tell the owners have good standards. The layout is very familiar if you have ever been to any kind of counter serve restaurant. There are reciped bowls listed on the wall, or you can make your own. For my first time out, I went with one off the list, and my wife did the same. They were so dang good and very filling. We also both had milk tea, which can be served non-dairy, so bonus! Those too were very good.

The staff were fast and friendly, which is always good. We were in and out in a timely manner, and the food was appealing to the eye. So we'll made.

On Google it says they’re open on Sunday until 9 PM. When I pulled up the open sign was flashing green signifying that they’re open. Additionally, the hours are stated on the door and it says they’re open on Sundays until 9 PM. Alas, when I pull the door, it wouldn’t budge in the door was locked. Picking around through the glass, I could see no one inside. I decided to call just in case, after two rings, a generic answering machine picks up, not identifying the name of the business or providing their hours let alone any information about the business at all so for all I knew I could have been calling the wrong number there was no way to know. If this is a franchise, they probably need to do a better job vetting out their business partners. You...
