Gordon Food Service Store — Local services in Canton Township

I have never been disappointed in my things I have bought here. And I personally can not say this about any other store I have shopped at many times over the years. I don’t know how they manage to do this but they certainly do! There are some things I will never buy like the huge cans of beans or soup but my son has eatery and he buys al his stuff from Gordonfoods you just can’t go wrong when you shop here! A good example is they had sirloin steak $21.98 so $22 for 7 steaks I would guess between 10-11 oz each so that 7 10 oz sirloin steaks @ $3.30 each how can you beat that price? You just can’t! They are th right size you not going to overeat eating a 1 or 2 lb steak! I also bought chicken breast skinless same price as steak but many more in the box al their meat is vacuum packed individually so they won’t get freezer burns or dry out or get stuck on one another you all know what pain that is!! So that’s about all I have to say thank you ...

Went just the other day to come and pickup some sloppy joe sauce, which I could unfortunately not find. I was frightened and scared that they were all out sloppy joe sauce, but then, at the end of aisle 2 a handsome young man with a name going by Nick L. He questions to me, “can I help you find anything today?” I contemplated for a while, and then asked the gut-wrenching question. I stuttered “D-Do you ha-have any sloppy jo-joe sauce?” And do you know what Nick responded with? He said, “I’m not sure, let me check in the back.” Seconds started to feel like hours, and it felt like I was standing there for an eon. Finally he came back, and it was like Jesus returning from his tomb, and he had it. He had the sloppy joe sauce! I’ve have never felt happiness like that before, and I don’t think I’ll ever feel happiness like that again, all thanks to the best employee...

I spent a lot of money at Gordon's over the years. It's catalog is very extensive, and you can order obscure stuff and have it shipped to the store. However, lately it has been trying very hard to turn itself into a supermarket, with prices to match. It seems as if it decided at some point in time that its profit margins needed to be expanded, at least in its stores. Consequently, I do not go there as often as I used to. Still a good place to go to get industrial quantities for large outings, parties, Etc Update. Remodeled, more supermarket than ever, prices higher than...
